Yes- this worked exactly as i had hoped. Pretty much everything I have bought from Gibraltar has been exceptional quality... I was not concerned. I bought 4 of these to add another level to my rack and it worked great. they are even notched on one side for a memory clamp!

Finally got it to replace the black one I had and it looks great. Im using it to connect two 36" curved bars in front since I prefer to play two bass drums.
