Your cart is empty.The SC-TL2 is a rack tom/floor tom drum bracket that attaches to the shell of a drum or suspension mount. This bracket is used to mount rack toms and floor toms to L rods or floor tom legs to be set up in playing position. It will accept 9.5mm to 10.5mm L rods and floor tom legs, and has a mount hole spacing of 2".

Used these to convert a 14 inch hanging tom to a floor tom. No issues at all.A good reference for bracket height for FLOOR TOMS, from bearing edge to the bottom of the bracket is as follows. 12 inches deep, 2 inches from the edge. 13-3 14-4... etc.Since my tom is 12 inches deep, I measured 2 inches from the bottom bearing edge and drew a line. Next, I lined up the bottom of the rubber backing gasket with line and centered the gasket as good as I could. I used a silver marker to trace the gasket holes and removed the gasket.I put masking tape on the inside of the shell before drilling the holes. I started with a small drill bit, centering as well as possible, and worked up in bit sizes until the holes were big enough to fit the bracket. If the bracket doesn't seat fully, just ream the holes out a little at a time until it's a perfect fit. Remember to take the tape off. Make sure everything is tight and you're good to go.Start to finish, probably took 45 minutes to an hour to complete.Turned out good. I'm using 10.5 mm legs and they fit great.

Very good product and works as expected.Specifications were slightly off though. The centers for the mounts are 2 1/16". I also had a thick vintage Japanese mahogany shell and the supplied screws were just a little short (only 2-3 threads were engaging) so I bought stainless steel machine screws in a longer length.The screw size is 5mm X 16 .80 thread with corresponding lock nuts and washers. I bought a few extra washers in case the screw bottomed out but it didn't happen and everything fit great. Price for parts was .69, .34 & .46 each respectively (USD).

I recently acquired two rack toms from a 90's TAMA Rockstar kit that I wanted to mount on my Pearl Bass. The mounting brackets on them were shot, natch, and wouldn't hold. I found these and they seemed like just what I needed. As usual, the Gibralter quality is there. Comes with a rubber gasket. Fit perfectly with NO modifications needed. And these mounts do not use the original design compression screw that eats up the mount posts and slips around. It has a splined sleeve inside the bracket that tightens around the mounting post. Works like a champ. Happy camper! Two big and well secured TAMA jugs on a Pearl! (Of course, my project done this way needed more than just these brackets, but Gibralter had everything I needed.)

I broke the bracket on my mounted tom on a Ludwig Element Evolution drum set. I could not find the exact replacement part anywhere. I bought this Gibraltar part and it worked perfectly. In the picture you can see the original part on the left tom and the Gibraltar part on the right tom. It doesn’t match, but what good is a drum set that doesn’t have some character?

After almost a decade of gigs, one of the original leg holders on my Pearl Export series finally stripped out so I decided to replace all three. This item from Gibraltar is far superior to the factory hardware. I've included a picture showing the interior of the unit. The leg goes through the ring shown and the wing nut tightens this ring towards one side securing the leg between the ring and the two exterior holes. The ring also has "teeth" to help "grab" the "rough" part of the leg.The attached picture also includes dimensions so you can see how well these will fit your floor tom. I had to "slot" one hole of the pair to get this to fit into my tom but didn't mind doing that to get this type of quality upgrade. Be sure to only slot one of the holes make sure the unit stays in place when installed.After slotting, it was a perfect fit on mine and matches the look of the other hardware (didn't use the included gasket or screws - my original hardware threaded in just fine).Very pleased with this and highly recommend. For the price, if you've got one bad one, go ahead and do all three!

Gibraltar always comes through on quality equipment. Always been my go to for parts and accessories. They have always been top notch in drum equipment.This particular part works well for tom and floor tom leg mounts. The hole spacing also fits most rim mounts and most floor tom legs. The eye bolts and screws have never failed me. And also fit most floor tom legs with the exception of a few companies. Make sure that the diameter of your legs or tom arms will fit the bolt diameter spacing. Trust me... There is plenty of drum equipment out there that are either too big or too small in diameter to work. So make sure you're getting the right part for the job

I bought some of these to mount my toms and to mount legs to my floor tom. While they secure floor tom legs very well, I don't recommend them for mounting toms to your bass drum, stand, rack, etc. When tightened down fully, they allow some side-to-side movement that really just annoyed me. For mounting these toms, I recommend the Gibraltar SC-STL4 brackets. They hold much more securely and don't allow the side-to-side movement.My only other issue with these brackets has to do with memory locks. While these brackets have notches for memory lock tabs, they are too narrow and too close to the shell to use with the Gibraltar 10.5mm hinged memory locks.
