The GSSVR Stealth Side V Rack is another evolution within the Stealth series. With its' multiple uses and low profile nature, this Stealth version offers a swanky new approach to the side rack. Equipped with a 33 inch. V shape bar and 14.5 inch. vertical legs, it can be used as a companion to the GSVMS-KIT or as a right and left-side side rack. Cut down on the amount of stands and increase the mounting capability in your set up without widening your footprint. This V shaped side rack presents the audience with an artistic esthetic while keeping your set up low to the ground and multifunctional.

The Gibraltar clip on logo was substituted with an orange small round logo which looks so bad on the rack.

Used this to mount toms (get them off of the bass drum) and improve their sound as well as to expand cymbal mounting options while reducing the number of cymbal stands to one (have 4 cymbals plus hi hats but only use a hi hat stand, all other cymbals are mounted to rack). Will never wear out so it will never have to be purchased again. Note that, depending on what you want to do, you may need two of these - one for each side if the kit. You are also likely to need additional clamps, cymbal arms, Tom mounting hardware, etc. Moving to a rack system for toms, cymbals, and accessories is an investment. The payoff is a neat, clean look, improved Tom sound, easy tear down and set up, and versatile gear deployment.

If you off-set your toms on a 2-up kit, or just have 1-up with multiple cymbals, this can save a lot of floor clutter, setup time and really tidy up the stage.I'm not sure I'd bother using this if it was for one tom and a single cymbal stand as it'll be heavier and you're not really saving much time/space.I run 2 off-set toms, a crash and a splash on one end and it's still stable, though there is a little bit of flex at the clamp.Took a while to fiddle around and get everything both in the right place and well balanced, with all the adjust-ability, you can be tweaking for ages to get things right, but once done it's really easy to get consistent setups.It includes memory locks for the legs, but you may need to buy additional ones for your cymbal and snare stand,As you can use your existing snare basket and cymbal stands, you can save money over the version that includes these.The only issue I'm aware of is there's one pub we gig in which has very uneven cobbled-floor and I can see stability being a problem if your floor isn't flat.

I bought this to clear some floor space. It works great. I attached my 12'' floor tom and my snare and centered it between my two kick drums. I am adding another clamp for my crash cymbal soon. Gibraltar makes excellent drum accessories, this is my second product, the first being a kick drum pedal.

This is not a budget rack for your budget drum set. My ChromaCast hardware that came with my amazon, Sawtooth drum set didnt fit at all. My hardware is thin, and even with the smallest grommet, there was half an inch of slop. I returned it, and still wish there was a budget rack option somewhere out there.

This is a must for drummers with 2 kicks, if you're using a cage. I love the fact that it clears up so much space under the snare, because it provides the mount base for the snare basket.

I've been playing drums for almost 30 years. This is one of the best mounting systems I've ever used. I really like the compact nature and how it allows you to show off your kit. Once you get it dialed in for your configuration it is a quick and easy set up and tear down.

I switched from a Pearl 501 Rack (excellent product) to the Gibraltar GSVMS to reduce the weight of my gear bag and o free-up floor space. This product is built to last; excellent quality yet NOT as heavy as you would expect. Chrome plating is superb! Very happy with this purchase!nMy next purchase will be the GSSMS rack for cymbal mounts eliminating even more stands.
