Bought for my grandkids. Great value, rugged, easy to use and love the range. Works great out on the farm.

Pretty nice little walkie talkie set. Range is good, but nothing special. They are fun for around the house and yard with the kids.

These are exactly what they look like, a walkie talkie toy for kids. They work and have a decent range, but don't expect these to be as nice as some of the similarly priced adult versions. The accessories are just cheap toys, and the radios need batteries that are NOT included. They are compatible with rechargeable batteries, at which point you can charge them with a USB cord, but these are not included like the before mentioned adult versions usually come with. All in all, not bad exactly, just understand these are not something you can substitute for a more advanced adult version in an emergency and you will be needing to spend almost as much on batteries as the radios if you want them to be rechargeable.

When your kids...or you...love the outdoors as much as we do, these walkies are an excellent way to add fun to play. It's also a great way to be able to communicate with my kids when they're in the backyard (ours is quite large) and I want to enjoy the patio with a friend. The quality is great and seems nicer than typical products marketed towards kids.

What a deal. Coming from someone who has their GMRS and HAM radio licenses with several different types of radios, I’d definitely recommend these especially for kids. We’ve tried others and they were all cheap garbage that barely worked. These are the real FRS deal. Great range. We’ve never had the signal drop while in our multiple story house or outside. I can’t believe the quality of these for the price. And it comes with binoculars, a compass, and a multi tool. There is a LED flashlight feature on the walk talkies, a call button, adjustable channels, VOX, and has a lock button. They take 3 AAA batteries and they last a long time. The speaker and microphone on each one sound great. If you are looking for a fun way to stay connected to your kids or just have fun around the house like we do, then these are perfect.

Comes with 3 walkie talkies. The description is a little misleading with the USB charging port. There is no battery in the walkie talkies, you can put rechargeable batteries in them and in theory you should be able to recharge using the USB. We do not have rechargeable batteries, so we were not able to test the USB charging ports. So far, the batteries have lasted, we are still on our first set.The walkie talkies have good sound for a kid’s “toy”. We tested the range, and we were able to talk to each other on separate levels of the house. My son then walked to the back of the year (about 125 feet) and we were still able to hear and understand each other. The light on the walkie talkie is not very bright. I wouldn’t want to be in the dark with this as the only light. I don’t think you would find your way home. They come with lanyards which is nice for little ones to help them hang onto their walkie talkie while they are exploring. The extras that came with the walkie talkies are a nice bonus. We got the 3 walkie talkies, a compass, binoculars, and a whistle with a light and compass on it.The compass is lightweight, it isn’t accurate, but again this is a toy. The binoculars work, they are a little fuzzy (or maybe that’s just my eyes). The light on the whistle is brighter than the one on the walkie talkie, but you have to hold it down to keep the light on.Overall, this is a good product. As a toy I feel that it should be priced a little less (at the time I got it, the price was $49.99).

Love these walkie talkies. They have all the features of much more expensive radios so while it says they are for kids, they are perfectly functional for adults as well. The radios of course have PTT (Push To Talk) like all walkie talkies, but they also support voice activated transmission (VOX) so that you can communicate without having to press the button. It is a selectable feature as well so you can choose to use PTT or VOX to meet your needs. The range seems pretty good. We have tested it in our neighborhood and it goes at least a half a mile through houses and block walls so happy with its range in the city. We'll need to get out in the woods to test it at longer ranges. Overall very pleased with this set that is capable for kids and adults alike
