I have a wide (89mm/3.5") but short lens and finding a case for it was becoming a problem as it didn't come with one. The other cases I tried are way too large or too narrow. This case is a little bit long for my 18-135mm lens but the extra space can be used for filters or a short prime lens. The lens is the same width as the inside width of the case so it holds it perfectly without being too large. This will protect my lens when not in use while carrying in a daypack.*Rigid but slightly flexible*Smooth double zipper*Foam "dots" on the inside for shock absorption*Interior velcro strap*Nylon strap handleThe only part of the design that I'd give a slight negative to is the floppy fabric hinge. The top just needs to be pushed around a bit for it to align properly for folding over and closure. Once the zipper is zipped it's not even in use and the case is tightly closed. When I travel, I carry a DSLR in a small case. I carry select lenses and filters so I don't take my full camera bag. I needed a small case to store my 18-135mm lens when using my 50 or 135 prime lenses so checked this one out. This fits the bill better than other cases I've tried.5 stars - perfect for a lens that's 89mm wide.

Pros: Good, solid feeling case. Soft interior Strap with hook and loop closure on the inside. Fits a 75-300mm Canon Rebel Lens inside. Has a little strap to hold it. Cons: No cons so far. If anything changes; I will try to update this review.

The Ginsco Hard Shell Protect Case is an excellent value in lens protection. In addition to those lenses mentioned in its Amazon listing, it accommodates my Nikon 24-120mm f/4 S lens (14cm with filters and lens cap) very well, albeit without the lens hood. That might be a deal breaker for some, but it isn't for me. The hard shell is covered with a ballistic nylon-like material. It has an internal strap for securing the lens, and the zipper works as it should. It also works well with some smaller prime lenses. My Z mount Yongnuo 33mm f/1.2 fits very well with a bit of room to spare. At its current price, I think it is an exceptional value and is a "no brainer". There was a time when major manufacturers included a case with their lenses. This case is a very affordable option to compensate for the fact that that former practice doesn't happen much anymore.

I like the construction of this case. The hard shell, the carrying handle, contrasting red stitching, and the bubbled fabric inside are all nice features.A variety of my lenses fit very well in this, such as my Sigma lenses (17-70mm, 18-250mm, 8mm Fisheye), Tokina 100mm AT-X, and some others. The one issue I have has been noted in another review and that is that some lenses will not fit into the case with the lens hood attached while they will if the lens hood is removed. A larger circumference hood would work in this case with attached hood.Overall, I'm very pleased with the case and would definitely purchase other sizes if available.

This is a really good case for inside your camera bag - when you don't have enough dividers and don't want your lens to bang into other lenses. That said, it's a bit on the small side for its advertised compatible lenses; this more comfortably fits a 105/2 DC Nikkor or a 135/2.8 Batis. The included retention strap helps keep the lens from rolling around. There is very little padding.

This lens case is very sturdy as the outer shell is a hardshell. The inside looks like it would be very well padded, but the padding isn't as soft as I thought it would be, but that doesn't mean it won't do the job. My only complaint and it's a small one is that it's not as big as I was hoping. The only lens I had that fit it fairly well was a 85mm 1.8 and anything smaller than that will certainly fit. This will work for me because I can now put it in my backpack and not worry about the lens being damaged.

Love this, I have several RF lenses that I pretty much always have, a couple that just rattle around in my bag where there aren’t explicit lens designated spots, and while I’m pretty careful with my expensive stuff, every now and then I’ll grit my teeth if I hear them clock together.Excluding L Series Canon glass… These fit anything up to a 70-300mm lens, obviously some of the L Series RF lenses have flared areas for that gigantic and wide glass that won’t fit in these. But these are good for travel, the build is sturdy and the interior is soft and super smooth, the interior strap oddly doesn’t have a stretchy part, you’d think that it would because that would make sense the 70-300 is far enough to barely make it around it, but that’s not a deal breaker. It’s not too thick so it makes it easy to jam into a spot for lenses. The padding is excellent. The zippers aren’t my favorite thing, but I haven’t liked a plastic zipper l… ever, I just love brass YKK zippers for quality. Weird admission but I’m a zipper snob. Two things I love aesthetically is the red stitching is very L Series Canon style, and there’s no hideous logo emblazoned across this shell! There have been so many photography products that I’ve loved, that have “Flibbittjibbets!” As a brand name proudly thrust into the spotlight… I hate that. I don’t even particularly love that with the camera and lens and strobes. Why anyone needs to see Godox and Neewer across my umbrellas and octoboxes is beyond me.So this went from a “Wow this is surprisingly good quality for a vibe testing item!” To “I need to buy about four more of these because it’s REALLY good and it’s not pretentious about it!”
