Worked on my dell xps. Unfortunately the design of the xps 7590 power jack is flawed and it will break over and over again with continued use. Mine was cutting in and out with the charger plugged in. I bought this same exact replacement a few years ago and that one also broke recently so had to replace it again. This replacement will last a couple years which is expected. Good product.

After replacing it, it seemed to work at first but it's not charging anymore. Disappointing. Unfortunately, I threw away the old one and the return window has passed so for now, I'm stuck with this.

Purchased this for my XPS 15 7590 that was not charging. After a new power cord and battery I got this and presto my laptop is charging again. Easy install. Took like 20 min.

This AC charge port has 7 pins. The Dell Precision 3510 requires a port with 5 pins.

My Dell XPS 15 stopped charging. After verifying it wasn't the charger, I tried this since it was easy to replace (Youtube had a great how-to). Took 20 min.

My wife's 7590 laptop charge connector broke and I replaced it with this one. It was straightforward to replace. Just remove the back cover, take out a few screws and remove the old connector and replace it. The XPS 15 is an excellent design in that this easily breakable part is inexpensive and easy to replace.

Never opened a laptop before. Bought non stratic gloves , a dell screwdriver and this cable plug socket connector port. Looked at some good repair instruction videos on YouTube. Fixed in about 30 mins. All works ok. Saved a lot of hassle and money. Good quality product from what I can see.

New Dell arrived with a power port that the cord would always fall out of. Fit very loose and many reviews stated the same problem. A year and a month after purchase (a month after warranty expired) the port got worse by not charging sometimes and causing warnings of improper charger being used. Could not even find the part on Dell web site. Had to look up on internet and hope it was the right one. Didn't want to take out part to verify and either not have use of pc or have to put back together only to take back a part in a few days to fix. Not too difficult to replace. Hardest part was getting the tiny torx screws loose for the back cover. Now plug doesn't fall out and no more warnings. Good thing Dell doesn't list it...it would probably be $20 to $30 more.
