So glad I found this recommended by the NYT Wirecutter writers. Intended to replace my black plastic spatula which Wirecutter noted is a PFOA hazard. But aside from eliminating that risk, this spatula is awesome in use. Super sharp (though flexible) blade, gets under any food, does not burn, much less melt, and does not absorb grease. Easy to clean. Surprisingly nicely weighted. Expensive, but seems like a lifetime purchase.

Finally, someone did Get It Right! After using suboptimal silicone utensils, I am happy to report that this is not one of them. I've used this spatula almost daily for months and have NO pitting, chipping or cracking to report. Soft and flexible but stiff enough to easily get under those pancakes or burgers for an easy flip. No issues with melting. Cleans up in a breeze. Looks and works wonderfully!

I’m absolutely loving this. It acts as a bowl scraper to get all the ingredients into the frying pan (like eggs). It works beautifully to scrape the sides of my non-stick pan and is gentle on it. The support structure of the main part of the paddle is good and I’m able to flip things like omelets and burgers over easily. If you need something to break up food like hamburger this is not ideal for that as it has a softer edge like a bowl scraper

This is a nice large turner which is great for flipping pancakes. Cleans well in the dishwasher.

I already love to cook. But, I love it more when I have the proper tools. Yes I said tools because I'm a guy. I am particular about my spatulas. I like them with the silicone because they are more durable, easy to clean, and feel good in the hand. This one is dipped. There are no creases or crevices for food to get into it's just one solid piece. It's flexible and rigid. When you slide it under the food it's like a squeegee on the pan. It gets between the food and the pan no sticking. When you're ready to make that pot liquor. You know those extra crumbly pieces on the pan. You flip that spatula over it's real firm it lets you just rake it against the bottom of the pan and it catches all that stuff up so you can make that delicious syrupy yum yum stuff. It also helps clean the pan in the sink by scrubbing the service with it once again flipping it upside down. It's Simple, easy, and well priced. You gotta love it.

I was a little weary at first on getting this spatula because the pictures looked like the edge might be too thick to get under my food (especially eggs) to flip, but once I started using this spatula, boy was I impressed. I couldn't use the metal spatulas, and the nyon or plastic ones were always wearing away at the edges and getting in my food (not good). This one is perfect. I should probably get another one to have just in case something happens. Anyway the other reason I chose this particular spatula is because a lot of the other silicone spatulas sit over a metal insert, and I noticed people complaining that the end of the spatulas were breaking away and having to throw them away. This one is solid silicone. Working perfectly for me anyway. Highly recommend even if the price is a little high. You get what you pay for sometimes.

I love this spatula for many reasons: the durable silicone, the color, and the fact that it’s easy to clean. The only thing I wish was different was that the head was a little slimmer. It is primarily used to flip fried eggs and it can be challenging to flip an individual egg without bumping into another one. But overall a great purchase.

I have most of GIR silicone utensils. And I use them almost everyday. This particular one has a broader edge which I thought will be useful for flipping larger food items and I am not disappointed.
