The inner of the headband is made of 1.1 inches wide plastic, which is more comfortable and stable to wear and not easy to slip down, the outer layer of ears, tail and tie is made of soft flannelette, and the inner core is filled with PP cotton.

The EMEISAN Giraffe costume is a really cute way to dress up without extensive costuming. It's a simple tail, headband and bowtie that mimics the distinctive look of a giraffe with the fun addition of the necktie. I like that the construction is really solid. I took several pictures of the headband on my German Shepherd, and she "took it off" several times with her paws without any damage to the stitching. The band holds on securely without being too tight. The bowtie, as well, fits nicely as does the tail. If you are looking for a really easy and distinctive way to 'dress up' - either fo children or adults (or dogs!), you'll enjoy this costume. Great look at a really good price.
