Very cute and lightweight, perfect for summer. Love the print, decent quality for the price. My granddaughter is REALLY tall for her age, she's 5, she wears a size 6/7 shirt and size 8 bottoms. I ordered the 9/10 and it fits her now, I was hoping it would be a little big so it would fit all summer, but I doubt it will at the rate she's growing. If you're on the fence about size, order up a size or two, it's not like kids shrink!

We are heading off to the beach for spring break and my girls needed a cover up so I stumbled on this one on Amazon and figured would give it a try. It fits both my 7 and 9yr old's well and is perfect for what we needed it for. I wish it would have been a zip up instead of a pull over as it fits a bit odd and is hard to get on and off but will work for what we need.White color is a bit see through and material is a bit thin but, as a cover up, it should work ok. There are definitely better ones on Amazon that we have bought but this will be ok.

Is it a dress? Is it a bathing suit cover? It could definitely be either one. It's thick enough to wear on it's own, while also being thin enough to wear over your bathing suit to the pool on a hot day. This green is my favorite color to wear, and my 10 year recently decided it's her favorite to wear as well, so I had to order her this dress in olive. This is the perfect lounge dress. It goes down a bit past the knees, which I prefer for dresses when I know my girls will be playing in them. The straps are thick and will stay in place on her shoulders. No one likes a strap that falls down all day. It did have a few loose, white threads, but what can you expect for less than $15? I already have this dress in my Amazon cart in berry for my 7 year old!

14+ year old recipient is petite and of slight build. She is 58" tall, weighs 70 lbs., has a 22" waist. She typically wears a 10 in girls tops and 12 in shorts and pants.We got the cover-up so that she could comfortably and quickly walk back & forth between the pool and home and not feel self-conscious or have to get fully dressed. This one is very potato-sack like, in the best of ways - not too tight or too short. Other reviews mentioned that the lighter colors were see through, which is why I purposefully got a darker color. I am glad I made that choice because black does show through the pink a bit and I think a lighter color would have been more revealing. The size chart is slightly confusing - I interpreted it as saying that the length from shoulder to hem would be 32.3" for the size 12-13. However the actual measurement was 27". Even so, it came just below her knees.With today's economy, I feel that the current price of $14.99 is only okay. Not sure it is worth that, which is why I took off a star.Measurements of the size 12-13, laying flat are as follows... I love that this is not the typical see-through cover up. The material is thick enough that what is worn beneath cannot be seen so my little can easily throw this on before going into an establishment requiring proper attire. I did order up and I am glad I did. It makes it easier to put on, off when the skin and hair are wet. The butterfly print is super cute and the colors match the ad. It laundered well and did not hold wrinkles.

This cover-up is made with a thicker material than I expected. The braiding detail on the sleeves is very nice. It does run a little small, so you could size up. With it being made with a thicker material, it could possibly be worn as a sun dress. The color is nice and vibrant as well.
