I like that this is a 3 piece suit with options for sun exposure on the top, and I chose it specifically because the swimsuit bottoms seem to have decent cheek coverage (unlike a lot of swim bottoms I see for younger girls). However, I felt the sizing was off and – it seems to run large; see pictures. I ordered an 5-6T, and for comparison, the pink mermaid rash guard is a 5T from Target/Carter brand, and the blue bikini bottoms are a 6T from Land’s End. These bottoms definitely have more fabric than the ones from Lands’ End and a higher waistband, but if you compare the size of the leg holes, you’ll still see that this set from Amazon is much wider/looser. My almost six-year-old is petite, but I tried them on her thinking they would fit 5-6 range per the tag. They were way too loose in the crotch and would expose her. There was also a strong chemical scent when I opened the bag (which did come out after a run through the wash).We will still probably use the tops, which are loose, but that doesn’t matter as much. And if you have a larger kiddo, this may work for you. Otherwise, I would consider sizing down.

Bright and cheerful little two piece swimsuit. The ruffles on the bottom are so flattering. Added bonus is the long sleeved shirt with UPF 50 sun protection. The fabric and construction of all 3 pieces is excellent. I can't get over what a great value this is....to get 3 pieces at such a low price....it doesn't get any better. It is so adorable on our 8 year old and fits her perfectly.

I got this swimsuit for my 6 year old daughter and it's perfect for her! I love that it has the option for either a tankini or long sleeved shirt to protect from the sun. Sometimes, especially in the evenings, you don't want all that fabric on your arms and back so having the option to convert to tankini is awesome. Looks good on her too and fits well. Great purchase!

Love the bright colors and the versatility of the 3 pieces. I have a potty training toddler and was looking specifically for a 2 piece bathing suit that has long sleeves. This is perfect and sizing was true to size. Cute design!

I absolutely love this swimsuit! It’s super cute and fits my toddler perfectly. I got the 3-4T size, which is exactly what she wears, and it fits great. The design is adorable—she honestly didn’t want to take it off! I love that it comes with one bottom and two top options: an adjustable tank top and a long-sleeve version for added sun protection. The two-piece design makes diaper changes easy while still providing good coverage. Overall, a fantastic swimsuit—5/5 stars!

The fabric and the stitching on this swimming suit are nice. Overall, it fits well and that it fits true to size. For reference my daughter wears a 7/8 and I ordered her a 7/8. The sleeves of the rash guard are a little short, but that is my only complaint. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.

This swimsuit is super cute, and the print is exactly as expected. I love that the bottoms have a higher waist for added comfort. The only downside is that the straps tend to slip and require constant adjusting. Despite that, it’s still a great suit and will definitely get a lot of use this summer.

The 5 to 6 year size fits my 40 lb seven year old a little big. Not so much that I would size down though. She wears a 6 in dresses usually. The swimsuit is well made and maybe the best part is she put it on all by herself. I made sure not to get her a suit with any crisscrosses. See photos.
