I'm always skeptical of ordering nuts, bolts, screws etc. on Amazon because in so many cases the threads are horrible. Plus, most of the "stainless steel" that comes from China is "chinesium", that rusts just like regular steel. These screws and plates fit really well, and also have really tight (in a good way) threads. THe o-ring prevents damaging the surf board or fin. These also pass the magnet test, which means that a magnet won't pick them up so they are really stainless steel!

I recently purchased a new Blacktip DPV scooter and decided to reuse my old backplate with a strap to mount it on the DPV. To attach an Ikelite tray with double grips for my GoPro camera and video light, I needed screws. My only requirement is that the screws be high-quality 316 stainless steel, sized 4mm x 0.7. These screws are of very high quality and will last a long time in the ocean.
