My husband really likes this hat. The ear flaps and back come down lower than most hats, so it gives good coverage. The fastener is a little hard to open, but it stays in place.

This hat is stylish, well-made, generally fits well, and is, for the most part, comfortable. I like that the back of the hat does not extend so far down my neck that it pushes the hat brim low on my forehead like some of the other hats I have. The brim does not come down so low that I can't also wear my glasses/sunglasses. The fur lining keeps my ears and the sides of my face warm.The hat is not wind resistant so strong cold winds might blow through and chill your ears. It is also not waterproof.The one flaw of this hat--hence 4 stars instead of 5--is that the plastic edge of the brim at the temples is a little too tight, especially since it is covered with the fabric and fur. You will definitely feel that the hat is too snug and maybe too uncomfortable to wear. The snugness is not a problem for me because I can stuff my hair up under the hat to raise it up just enough so that there is no uncomfortable pressure at my temples.

It’s roomy and comfy. The lining is so soft! I wore it out in 30 degree rain/snow mix with 20 mph winds and stayed perfectly warm. Precipitation beaded up on it, but didn’t soak in.

Live on a ranch, have to check water everyday on an atv. This cap is very warm, looks good, nice material. Only problem is it doesn’t tighten up enough to keep all of the cold air out. Will have to fix the chin strap so it is tighter. Still a great product.
