I’ve had a Topeak Road Morph with Gauge for a lonnngggg time. While it still functions, I was looking for its successor. I’ve tried the Lezyne Micro Floor Drive HP: its construction is sturdy metal vs. the many plastic parts on the Topeak, but I found the Lezyne’s handle uncomfortable. The Giyo, like both of them, has a fold-out foot-peg and inline pressure gauge. Its barrel and handle are metal, and it’s taller, so feels easier to reach high pressures with. If only it had larger markings on the pressure gauge for aging eyes!

Super happy with purchase, giro put a lot of cool value in this little guy, definitely recommend as it has a gauge, foot pump step and ease of use while still remains sleek and compact!

This is a great on bike portable pump. Its pretty lightweight but it is big enough to actually use when you need some air. I have several electric air compressors but honestly it's less work for me to just use this manual pump than it is to get everything together and hooked up to deal with the presta valves on my tubeless tires. You never really know when your tires are going to need air when you are out riding, they could just leak down if your tubless, puncture, or pop a bead loose. So you need a pump unless you don't mind pushing the bike when a flat happens. This pump is good enough to not only work in emergency situations on the trail but also around the house if it's all you have. Very impressed with its features. It has an online gauge that works, and a little arm you can stand on to hold it still while pumping. The hose is long enough and the handle is big enough to grip. I have had a few of these small pumps and this Is the only one I would recommend. If I had anything negative to say about it it would be that it would be nice if the arm locked in place when flipped out. I flipped it to far at first and it came off. It could get lost outside if this happened. Other than that its perfect.

Nice portable (about 13") bike pump that supports both schrader and presta valves. It can be mounted in a water bottle spaced fitting and includes a bracket with a hook and loop strap. It has a built in pressure gauge, but in my testing I didn't find that it was accurate enough to use except in dire emergency. It didn't come with any instructions, and the only thing that wasn't completely self-evident was how to switch between schrader and presta. It is a clever o-ring leak-proofed fitting that can be screwed on/off in the usual directions. Meaning, rotate counter-clockwise to take the fitting off and clockwise to tighten. Do pay attention to the o-rings to ensure that they stay with the fitting, or I don't think it will seal properly. The amount of force it takes to pump a 26" mountain bike tire from 30-40 psi can be done while holding the pump in one hand and stroking it with the other. Far easier to make use of the folding foot holder and pump it using the ground for leverage. I also tested a road bike pumping it up from 60 to 80 psi and it was very doable. Just don't be in a hurry, as there isn't a lot of volume that can come out of a small pump. So, other than a questionable pressure gauge, the rest of the pump assembly is excellent. It's also small enough to fit in a bike bag if you choose not to mount it on the frame.

Ah, wonderful spring days, perfect for a bike ride! Sailing down the path, birds are singing, wind in your hair and then - flop, flop, flop. A flatTime to take out the tire irons, a spare inner tube, and your pump. You DO have a pump in your bicycle bag, don't you?Surprising how many people out there do not. If you ride a bike anywhere farther then the end of your driveway or parking lot, you REALLY need one, along with three tire irons, and TWO spares. Not just one. This really nice pump from GIYO is the perfect choice if you are new to pumps. When I took it out of the box, I was immediately impressed with how solid the construction is, with everything built out of metal instead of plastic. The hose is long enough to reach any point of your tire, there is a folding handle, foot peg to step on while you pump, and an inline to the hose easy to read pressure gauge. This pump will handle pressures up to 150 psi, enough for even a sewup. The frame mount is molded plastic with a tight fit, nice in that the pump will not become an unguided missile if you hit a bump. If you do not have water bottle cage bosses - holes in the frame for bottle cages - you can mount this to the frame with the enclosed large tie wrap strips. All at a total weight of 9.4 oz.Overall, it's a perfect pump for any recreational cyclist. The only objection I have is that I would need to sacrifice a bottle cage for this pump. For long training rides and races, I want both my bottle cages, and at times have used an aero mount behind my seat so I can have 4 bottles. I have a side mount pump mount that addresses this minor issue. But, for the majority of riders, it's not a deal breaker.
