I was using 12 ga wire in the Lever Wire Connectors and some of them would not hold the wire tight. Some of them you couldn't get the lever pulled all the way up to open and some of them broke once you got it open and would not clamp down on the wire. I got several different types and the same problems with all. Had to go to Lowe's and buy push lock connectors for a lot more money. Very disappointed in the Lever Wire Connectors.
