I recently installed these lights in my staircase of my deck, and I am quite impressed with the results. The bright, warm glow enhances the beauty of my outdoor space, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Installation was straightforward, and the lights are durable enough to withstand various weather conditions. I appreciate the energy efficiency, as they provide great illumination without significantly increasing my electricity bill. Overall, these lights are a fantastic addition to my home, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to elevate their outdoor lighting!

These wonderfully small but very bright die cast aluminum, surface mount deck lights are handsome, well designed and manufactured. Perfect for providing walkway light for decks or stairs.Mounted on the railing posts or on the step riser they. provide 1.5 watts of bright even light-at 9-15 volts ( they do require a transformer). Plus the the LED module is sealed against weather intrusion, water, dust, etc.. They have a three foot copper lead wire and come with needed connectors and mounting hardware. And the manufacturer provides a three year warrantyHard to beat the low price and the sleek good looks.

Impressive little lights! I have a low-voltage system and a set of stairs with railroad ties planted vertically up the stairs. I had purchased flush-mount lights previously, but they required drilling a hole through the RR tie, which wasn't happening. I used them, but they looked terrible. These are what I needed back then! These are remarkably slim but have no protrusion behind them, so they can mount flush and solid against the wood (or whatever you have). These come with nice screws, about 3' of cord that is held with a strain-relief and decent wire nuts. You have the choice of using a notch on the bottom to bring the brown wires out if you cannot drill a hole behind the unit to make the wire "invisible". I used the former method, bringing it out, immediately turning along the bottom and going into the nearest gap in the wood. These units are not sealed, at all. They are designed so that water should not drip onto the LED array from the backside, and it has some protective tape over it. It will let moisture in, so hopefully the circuits are properly coated. I say this, as caulking when installing won't actually seal it, so save your effort.I do consider these worth the $11/each and they are very nice looking once installed.

I have stairs up to my house from the road and then stairs from the back yard up to a detached garage and along the steps are posts and hand railings - conveniently 6 of them. While it is middle of winter here, I did take some measurements and do some planning and testing. These lights are easy to mount, and are (nearly) ready to go on arrival. Lights include color-matched screws and jointer/nuts with pre-loaded grease to keep rust and oxidation at bay. These lights are not intended to light-up entire areas, but are good for a couple of steps. These are surprisingly bright for being so low power, as well.Very eager for spring to get these mounted so I can ditch the solar ones that I currently have that quit working a couple times a year and need replaced.

We needed some lights for a narrow breezeway that separates our workshop from our barn; so, when I saw these, I ordered them. These lights are small - they’re just a hair over 3 1/4” square and 9/16” deep - but their diminutive size and basic design makes them versatile. Although they are advertised as post or step lights, we will be installing them approximately 18” off the ground on the walls of the two buildings to illuminate the walkway between them. The housings are cast aluminum. The only oddity I’ve noticed is that there is a small channel cut out at the bottom of each fixture for the wiring to pass through, leaving the wires visible after installation. This is opposite from all of our other step-type fixtures in which the wires run behind the units, so none of it can be seen - it’s hidden by either the housing or the surface it’s installed on which makes for a more pleasing presentation. Although it is simple enough to redirect the wires, we will still need to fill in the gap in the casing so light doesn’t spill from it.The unit is rated for 30,000 hours (or just under 7 years at 12 hours of runtime per night) and it requires a low voltage transformer that must be purchased separately. In addition, we always purchase a photocell, too, so the lights are only on when necessary. The light itself is warm at 3000k.All-in-all, these are basic lights that function as promised. Although I prefer the ones on our house that have louvres, these are appropriate for work areas. At $67 per 6-pack, they are priced the same as the competing brands.
