Absolutely junk. Will damage your pistons from sharp spot welds, and the tangs bend and risk you breaking piston rings.I am a commercial transport technician and it wasn't even good enough to finish installing one set of pistons.

Used for my Harley engine and installing cylinders while the engine was in the bike. Work perfect.

Poor construction, no directions and broke the first time using to install the first piston. Set is worthless only one size fit the piston i was trying to install, cannot even use another tool due to the large differences in each ring band. Stay far away from this cheap tool.

This was very easy to work with and effective. The variety of bands makes it ideal for a shop.

Poor quality product, the inside of the piston ring compressor has spot welds which have not been sanded down, when trying to put a piston in the cylinder the piston got stuck and the piston ring compressor scratched my brand new piston.

Absolute garbage, the edges of the compressor rings are left with sharp burrs and sharp spot welds that scratch/gauge the piston or destroy the coating on the skirts. The rings and little spot welded tabs aren’t cut or spot welded on square so the ring doesn’t even sit parallel with the base of the jig/cylinder, making it extremely frustrating to use. Don’t waste your money on this garbage and buy a quality tool instead, it will save you money and frustration.

Works good and has plenty of sizes. Would work great on car engines. I am rebuilding a motorcycle engine and the jug slides over the piston. The compressor tool has no lock and makes it a 2 person job. As for the ring installer, the rings are to thin and the ring installer didn't work. Like I stated, for a normal automobile engine it all should work just fine.
