We got stained glass to add to our products and once we figure out and master using the tools it will be really nice. The pliers seem to work well, trying to get the hang of it. The tool is nice and smooth to operate and it is easy to use for my wife even with arthritis in her hands.

Having a quality pair of running pliers is a must-have when working with stained glass. You need to be able to depend on them, as the structure and durability of the tool directly affect the outcome of the glass. With these, I didn’t feel like they were the best quality, but I still gave them a try. They are okay for now, though I’m unsure about their long-term durability. As a backup, they’ll do, and I’d use them again if needed.

Being somewhat new to glass work, I have enjoyed using these. There is, of course, a slight learning curve, but I figured it out pretty quickly and have gotten some cuts that I'm very happy with. They are on the heavy side, but they feel durable and strong. So far, I haven't noticed any degradation in them at all. Overall, for a beginner (and possibly a more seasoned) glassworker, these are a great deal.

These pliers are heavy and well made. Prior to this, i rarely even attempted to cut curves (i am not a very experienced glass artist) and just would cut progressive straight lines to get close the shape i wanted and the nip and grind down to the actual curve. These pliers let you customize the angle of the pads to allow you apply pressure anywhere on your scoreline, not just at the edges, so you can carefully apply pressure along different parts of a curved score line until the glass breaks exactly where you want. It helps to watch some youtube tutorials on how to use these pliers.NOTE: I noticed another reviewer highlighted what they thought was a flaw in these pliers, but they are totally wrong. The top rubber part is SUPPOSED to swivel around! That is the whole point of what makes these running pliers special. The rubber is not glued down at all, you can move it around so that when you want to apply pressure to an internal part of a curved score line you can rotate the top rubber part to be perpendicular to your score line regardless of whether it is perpendicular to the plier handles. That mobility of the top rubber strip and the bottom rubber nipple is the whole point of how these revolutionize cutting curves. If what I described is hard to picture, look up a YouTube video on how to use running pliers to cut curves. These pliers have really upped my game and cut way down on grinding needed. Also they save glass because i am not cutting extra glass off in straight lines, so i can fit more shapes onto one piece of glass.

This review is for the "Glass Cutter and Running Pliers for Glass Cutting for BO700.0. Includes Spare Pressure Plate & Bar, 2 Jaw Pads. Ideal for Stained Glass, Achieves Perfect & Deep Cuts."As you can see by the photo I supplied, the rubber piece is glued down crooked. Under pressure when sbapping glass, that imperfection in manufacturing can cause glass not to break where intended, rendering this product as a beginner tool. For the price, I expect simple issues like what I mentioned not to be present. I reached out to the seller and reported it. If they correct the issue and let me know with adequate photos to prove it, I'll update my review accordingly. As of the time of this review, I can't in all good conscience recommend this glass snapping tool.

These Glass Cutter Running Pliers are a solid tool for anyone working with glass art. They feel sturdy and well-made, with a good grip that makes them comfortable to use. The design applies even pressure along the score line, making it much easier to achieve clean breaks in glass. Whether working on stained glass projects or smaller glass-cutting tasks, these pliers definitely help improve precision and reduce waste. They function as expected and make the process of breaking glass much more controlled and efficient. While the quality is good, I do feel that the price is a bit high for what these pliers are designed to do. They perform well, but at this price point, I expected slightly more in terms of build materials or additional features. That being said, they do their job well, and for those serious about glass art, they can be a valuable addition to a tool kit. If you work with glass regularly, they are definitely useful, but if you’re an occasional hobbyist, you might find more budget-friendly alternatives that work just as well.I’m happy with the performance of these running pliers, and they have been a great help in my glass projects. They are especially useful for intricate glasswork where precision matters. If they were slightly more affordable, I would give them five stars, but as they stand, they are a good, reliable tool that works well for glass artists.

Sturdy, heavy duty metal construction. These are working well for me so far, and the swiveling head makes curves a lot easier to cut. I haven't had any issues with the functionality of these at all. The price point seems a little high, but I'm happy with them overall. The only thing I wish it had was a cushioned grip. After a while of using these, my hand can get a little sore.
