When you want to connect the right front axle to the intermediate axle for four-wheel drive using the shift ring and fork, perhaps you need to purchase a new axle disconnect differential cable lock kit. We deserve it. Our axle shaft disconnect conversion to replaced for the vacuum actuator with a cable operated actuator.

You get what you pay for i guess, the factory vent on the actuator will not fit in this setup.

The lock positions seem to close together (doesn't travel far enough from engaged to disengaged) as well as it will not stay in the pulled out engaged position. Will attempt a return and buy a better brand. Only plus side was it shipped quick.

First of all- holes on both sides cover were off center, had to drill oversized hole in brass switch holder, diameter of fork shaft was larger than hole in fork, had to re- size,,, crimp part fork rod hangs up on threaded hole, had to smooth out end of shaft so it would slide smooth enough not to hang up on threaded hole, workmanship on items and fit were very poor!

I liked the kit itself but some of the parts like washers and such felt really cheap. But it fixed my problem and the truck locks in like no tomorow now. So I would say it was worth it

Cable worked just as good as the expensive ones. The instructions suck but if you are mechanically inclined you’ll have no issues

Installed product according to instructions, checked it for proper operation when I got the truck done in the summer, last week it snowed and as I rarely drive the truck(1000 miles a year) I haven’t had to use the 4x4 until then, and as soon as I attempted too I was left with a button and rod in my hand as the cable mechanism had failed instantly. Tried to mess with it so I could at least get my truck to move out of the snow it was stuck in and to no luck. DO NOT BUY! I have attempted to contact the seller to no luck also, waste of money

Kit fits well , but there are no instructions. You will need to remove the original fork from the old actuator . I would not recommend this kit if you are not mechanical. Need to figure out a lot on your own
