Searching for a unique gift for my husband's birthday, I came across these engraved Glencairn whisky glasses. With my husband enjoying Scotch and having just returned from a trip to Scotland, this was the perfect gift! I ordered two engraved whiskey glasses that reflected our trip. The glasses are beautiful. I am not a whiskey drinker, so I wasn't concerned with dimensions. Needless to say, I was a little surprised at how small the glass actually is. My fault, though. I don't know why I would think whiskey or scotch would be in a larger glass. Duh!The glass is approximately the size of maybe three shot glasses. The etching of the map of Scotland is clear and a nice touch, considering the glass is made in Scotland and is a gift for someone with some Scottish family history. I think he'll like it but, if he doesn't, I'll keep it for myself.This particular seller shipped IMMEDIATELY and I received my order much sooner than anticipated.
