Stiff frame and plenty of diffusers

Everything seems good with the manufacturing. The frame is sturdy as well as the fabric. Size is nice and big, comparable to a slightly smaller v-flat. Lightweight and can easily be held. 2 things that could be better is …1. The white and gold are together and the black and silver are together. It would have been better to put the black and white together, so it could serve as a v-flat. Which brings me to #22. The fabric is only Velcro on one side, and the fabric is snug. It took about 5-10 minutes to stretch the fabric over the frame. So if you need to turn it inside out for one of the panels that’s on the reverse side, it’s not a quick flip. It would have been easier/ quicker to use if all 4 sides were Velcro.On a side note, once the fabric is on, you can fold it up still with the fabric on the frame. The issue comes when you need to reverse it.Everything fits in the bag, even when you leave the fabric on the frame, but it’s very tight.

This reflector frame will probably work better in the studio where it can be left assembled, rather than on location where it takes a bit of time and effort to set up. Once it's put together it's fine, with its cross bar and baby pin mounting point making for easy attachment to a C-stand. The black, white, gold, and silver surfaces are sown together in a kind of reversible sleeve with elastic borders that slips over the expanded frame. One sleeve configuration is black with the other side silver, the other configuration is white with the other side gold. It would have been better if white and black were on either side of a sleeve configuration; much more useful so that it could be flipped quickly for either positive or negative fill. In order to use the included diffusion material, the sleeve needs to be removed, with the diffusion then tied to the frame. The first time the sleeve is installed, it's extremely tight and difficult to slide over the frame. Definitely easier to assemble with an assistant, and fairly awkward to do alone. Once the elastics on the sleeve loosen up a bit, it gets a little easier to get on and off. The finishes of the black, white, silver and gold surfaces are decent, but the material itself doesn't seem all that durable and it will be interesting to see how it wears over time. The frame locking mechanism is attached with rivets, and clearly not designed to be used outside when there's any kind of wind. If the provided cross bar and mounting clamps are removed after use, the frame can be folded with the sleeve still attached. I don't know if it was designed to be stored that way, but it will (just barely) fit into the provide storage bag, making assembly a little faster the next time it's used provided you don't have to take off and reverse the sleeve to get to another reflector surface choice. The mounting clamp knobs are attached with a removable bolt which is too short and forces you to take the whole clamp apart to get it to attach to the frame. Very inconvenient. If the bolt was longer (I've replaced mine) it would slip over the frame without all the clamp pieces coming apart. All this being said, it's still a useful bit of kit and an okay value given its price point.

This defusser came in handy for my last shoot. It's easy to put together & break down.. I will say make sure to use C-stands they are game changers

I have always needed a very large diffuser for outdoor commercial shoots but never had the budget for the big stuff. The ease of setup and teardown is also great. under 5 minutes for each. the build quality is solid. certainly less than what Hollywood uses but again for a fraction of the price that's to be expected. It has held up in the moderately situations I have put it through!

I bought two if them for multiple applications, as a reflector and negative fill instead of v flats and as a diffuser mainly, they are sturdy and very easy to assemble and put together , the diffuser is a little bit different than the image and practically it is better, it has 4 rubber bands sewn to the 4 corners and when you stretch it on the frame it flattens nice to the degree you may not need to add the bands to support the edges to the frame through the rings on the diffuser edges, The clips that hold the bar has a very nice feature That I am using differently, I am using the small opening on the side to attach it to a baby pin, and using the clips on the short ends of the frame smack in the middle so the baby pins will work as an axis that will allow me to rotate the scrim after I attache the baby pins to the c stand (one on each side) I find it a very convenient way rather than using the middle bar since it may cast shadow on the subject when shooting the flash through it, all in all very nice unit and definitely it is worth the money...!!!Update:Unfortunately the Black/Silver/White/Gold reflector is smaller than the frame, in no shape or form I was able to get it on it, when I tried it ripped, I am returning both, it is a shame since the product is great and had them had the reflector the same way as the diffuser (individual reflector with rubber bands sewn to the corners) I would of kept it with 5 stars.Update:02-04-2020Despite the fact that the reflector is smaller than the frame, I COULD NOT PASS THE AMAZING VALUE and I bought one AGAIN after returning the previous two units, I will adjust the reflector to something similar to the diffuser (rubber bands sawn to the corners)..!

I'm glad to say that this diffuser/reflector was a great purchase and easy on the wallet. It's easy to change between clothes and it really is light weight. I mainly use it in the studio attached to a c stand. Highly recommend

Used this to diffuse a few Apeture D300mk2 lights and it worked great. Also wonderful as a reflector/flag. Highly recommend.
