They work well with wood, not so much steel or sheet metal. I don’t recommend if you need this for any load-bearing applications

Needed these to screw one side of a piano hinge into some metal. The screws that came with the hinge weren't up to the task even with predrilling - the screw would break. Of course, you can't find #6 like this in the big box stores so I had to order them here and they worked better than expected. Had no issues going through about 1/8" soft steel.

I wanted some additional security for my pocket door, so I bought a set of clips designed to hold 3/4" plywood between the steel supports. The clips came with a lot more holes than screws, so I ordered these to fill it out. They work great.
