Bought these because of the brand expecting decent quality made in USA, but the first thing I see when opening the package is set of gaskets that said "made in china" Opened the gasket sets to see really low quality gaskets. Intake gaskets looks cheap, header gaskets made of thin cardbox feel. Head gaskets are multy layers, but cheap thin metal, no ceramic or other seal material around holes and no front markings to know which way goes left, right or foreward. Front and back seals look slightly decent compared to the rest. Really disapointed. I recommend spending the extra money and getting better quality set.

If you are looking at this kit you are probably like me and just want to get by as cheap as possible and have a dependable engine that you don't have to put a quart of oil a week into. This kit is a good start to attaining that goal. The kit was as expected. One head gasket wouldn't seal so I had to get a better gasket. Overall very pleased. If you buy this kit you are going to kick yourself if you don't buy pistons too. Get these guys to sell you pistons too because it is not worth the effort to clean the old ones if you are buying engine tech parts. This kit has every gasket for my 03 LS. The intake gasket is the cheap version, I reused the stock ones. The kit comes with the exhaust tail pipe gaskets too. The rear main seal does not have a in or out written/stamped on it. It has an arrow for the rotation I guess you have to know that cause its not on the internet. Half of the people posting on the internet are putting this in backwards. All the other gaskets were exceptional.Things that I wish this kit had included you're going to need that you may not think about. A camshaft thrust plate with fasteners. You have to have this. Head bolts, these are tty bolts and 90% of the explanations on the internet of how and why are not quite right. New head bolts and crank bolt are required.Everything else is sorta optional but I did have them send me the engine tech lifters. This kit comes from a second party seller and it was shipped quicker than expected and packaged well. Kit comes in at a great price.Thanks
