Exact replacement for my 2003 GMC duramax. I have had it in vehicle for about 3 months and is working fine. At first it appeared to be reading a little high but a month ago I ended up just about running out of fuel and the empty was pretty close to empty. I think I only had about a gal. in the tank when I filled up. Seems to drop pretty fast after 1/4 tank. Hope it lasts as long as original one that went 140,000 miles.

A little more than a year after installation the float/gauge is not working correctly and giving false readings on fuel level.Here I go again replacing the unit. Sucks!

I couldn't believe the price for this part from the dealer! The Amazon price is still about 5 times what a fuel tank sensor should cost, but it saved me at least $150, and what else are you going to do? It is a factory GM part, and installs and functions as it should. I'm not happy that I had to spend this kind of money, but it solved my problem, and I'm happy with the way it works.

Was the cheapest ACDelco sending unit I could find and worked perfectly. Cant beat the price for OE where youd pay even more for knock off crap other places online.

Perfect match for 2001 chevy diesel 6.6 liter. Half the price of the part store wanted, and about a 1/3 of what the dealer wanted. This works great for the vehicle models that have the fuel sendings units that are built into the housing, where it's all one piece. Not all vehicles have detachable sending units, my diesel was one of them, and so the fuel tank sending unit kits that are sold wouldn't work, but this does.
