I chose this hoop for the adjustability and solid design. It meets the playing needs for everyone from my 4 year old daughter to grown men. Installation of the hoop itself was simple, the hardest part was digging the hole and pouring concrete. My hole ended up being a bit wider than recommended (20-22"), so I used 18- 60# bags of quickrete. I was a little surprised that there was some shaking/vibration after hitting the backboard with a ball. This happens mostly at lower heights and hardly at all when set to 10'. Also, if you get the pole padding it will cover the height adjustment numbering hole. Not a big deal, but I'll probably cut it out so the kids can see it.
