Manual/TTL/Multi Flash Modes
The AD200 pro has 3 flash modes: Manual, TTL, and Multi (Stroboscopic). Manual outputs the user's choice of power, modeling light, first or second curtain sync, etc. Multi controls the stroboscopic rate up to 90 times (90 Hz). TTL takes advantage of the flash head's built-in X1 receiver. Optional X1 TTL transmitters are available for Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus, Panasonic and Fuji cameras.

I bought this to use for Real Estate Photography and haven't really needed to pull it out for months. The battery hasn't been charged in all that time and I had used it on a few projects before sitting it in the closet....but today, it turned right on and the flash primed in a couple of seconds. I was preparing myself for the battery to be completely without charge or just dead but was very happily surprised. I couldn't recommend the brand enough.

Enfin un flash léger avec lequel on peut faire de la rafale. En photo culinaire, les coulures ou éclaboussures sont parfaitement nettes et on est sur d'avoir plusieurs photos figées. J'en prendrais un second si le besoin se fait sentir. Attention toutefois, le récepteur n'est pas fourni.

This is the second one of these I am buying to add for a fill flash. I love the battery power and it is very light to take on location. If you get a bowens adapter you can use it will a ton of standard lighting accessories like snoots, soft boxes, etc.

If you need a light and versatile flash, this is the one to get. Solidly built and compact, it is perfect for a mobile set up. The included battery also lasts longer more than any potential shoot. I have two of these with the rest of my mobile gear in a Pelican case. Extra points for Godox for working flawlessly with its other hardware.

This is a great flash kit with plenty of capabilities. Easy to carry around either on its own or in the included case. Have only charged the battery once so far and have used it for several hundred pictures. Can quickly mount on tripod or light stand. Now it is easily my most trusted flash setup, mounted or handheld. I particularly like using the bare bulb, and I do recommend getting the bulb protector (Godox AD-S15) if you choose to keep it on the unit most of the time. Pergear even offers a free extended warranty. Very satisfied with purchase.

I liked the easy to use functionality of the flash, the interchangeable flash head adapters and and it's size. Cons of the device are the Godox AD200 does not have the small little slots that secure tripod mount securely to device like in the AD200 Pro. It can seem a little shaky when mounting and please don't try to over-tighten the screw trying to make sure it's secure on the tripod or you may cause damage. I purchased the AD200 before I purchased the AD200 Pro so I was unaware that the AD200 Pro had made the subtle change to the mount. These flashes work great in tandem and since I'm a professional photographer these two power-house flashes have become my new travel companions. Also must mention that if you shoot outdoors in daylight you will be in for a thrill once you reach into the high speed sync functions of this flash.. Simply amazing..

This flash is well made, sturdy and yet very compact. It produces a massive flash! I am using it for indoor real estate photography, and the amount of light available is really helpful. I also purchased some modifiers that make this a great overall tool. The li-ion battery is also wonderful, after having to always be checking batteries for my speedlite. I would recommend the remote by Godox that mounts on top of the camera at a 45 degree angle, and allows multiple flash syncing.

Nice small size with a good power. I haven't used it enough to judge the battery power and other functionality but the lighting power is very good and very easy to control. Built quality is not as good thought. I don't mind the plastic body as most of lighting product is mostly built in plastic but the quality of plastic and over all finishing feels a bit cheap.

For the last few years have been looking for a flash that would work successfuly with multi camera formats with the appropriate triggers. The AD200 fits the bill well. It has enough power for most situations and charges really fast.It is quite heavy so I bought the splitter which seperates the power pack from the flash head which is then used in a godox s mount bracket rather than use the supplied bracket (which I found to be a little weak).The AD200 is not cheap but worth the expense.

I purchased two of these Godox AD200Pro strobes primarily for portrait work in a small studio setting. The build quality of both units is excellent. One of the on/off switches on the strobes seemed a little loose, but I consider this a minor issue (it's fully functional). I will have to see if this switch is a problem long-term. The color consistency of both units is right within the advertised +-/100K (i tested it). The recycle times are excellent and a significant improvement over most speed-lights. These strobes are a natural step up if you find yourself out-growing your normal speed-lights with regards to recycle time or output. With 200 watt-seconds of output, these strobes are the equivalent of about three normal speed-lights. I trigged these strobes with a Godox X-Pro trigger for Sony and found the speed-lights consistently fired throughout my photo-sessions. Are you looking to over-power the sun outdoors? The AD400 Pro or AD600 Pro strobe will serve you better. Keep in mind, these strobes are too bulky for most people's pockets, but overall they're very compact strobes. The strobes come with a decent carrying case for the charger and other accessories. Overall, I consider these units to be excellent values. Would I purchase the same strobes again? Definitely!
