The GODOX AD-B2 Dual Power Twin Head is perfect for adding a modeling light to my AD200s for headshots! It’s easy to use, combines two AD200s for 400W output, and the Bowens mount works with many modifiers. The build quality is excellent, and it’s a reliable, versatile tool that’s been a game-changer for my photography. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to enhance their lighting setup!

Needed a way to get more powerful lighting outdoors and this was a good option. Didn't have to buy a new light and just use my two ad200 pros. Love it!

GodoX did an amazing job with this product. If you're looking for a cost-effective option, then this is the perfect fit for you. We highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on different strobe lights.

I really only picked this up because of the built in modeling light when using my Godox AD200 in studio and the fact that there is no light leak like you will get in an ordinary S2 bracket. Can be used with a single AD200 but keep in mind that only one of the two modeling lights will work inthis mode, you need two AD200's connected for both modeling lamps to work... and yep they are 3 stage and pretty bright. If you already have two of these Godox lights there will be no need to go out and buy an AD300 or 400. Cost savings engaged lol, you're welcome

This thing is great, you get a functional 400w light by combining 2 AD200s (I have pros) with a bowens mount for ~60 bucks. I have two, and find that carrying 4 AD200s gives me a lot of flexibilty in my travel setup (and all use the same batteries) so its more convenient to use this when I need the extra power than to carry around a single 400w light which uses a different battery/charger and can't be broken down into two lights. The light stand mount could be better, its the only thing I don't care for but for the price and the options this opens up I really can't complain.

I recently bought a second Godox AD200 and decided to try out the AD-B2. It ended up being a great decision. The combined power to two bulbs really opened up my outdoor photography lighting. This combined with a decent softbox really produces great light.Solid build quality and great recycle time.To keep the weight down, I actually connect two of the extension cords to it instead of connected the bodies of the AD200s. I then just place the AD200 bodies in two pouches that hang off the stand. It's be a great setup and I don't have to worry about catastrophic damage if the light happens to fall.Definitely get a C-Stand to hold it as it will have some weight to it if you don't use my method. For those who don't know, C-Stands are heavy. They easily weigh 20Lbs which is great for resisting tipping and will help keep your lighting investments from meeting their fate on the ground.

For $59, this is a good product. But a lot of Godox/Flashpoint products first generation is like a beta test, then they come out with a "pro" version. Their AD200 and bowens mount are like that. The pro/S2 fixes faults of the first generation. I say that to lower expectations. The flash operation is flawless so far, but I only had one shoot with it. I won't really know until I am out for a couple hours in bright sun shooting at 1/1. But so far, I love it. My main issue is the wonky stand mount and adjustment handle. Fortunately, I have the older S1 bowens mount, so I swapped handles. That at least lets me adjust the angle with a reflector attached. But it is still wonky compared to to the S2 bowens mount, which is a "pro" fit-- with $600 of equipment at stake, I would pay $20 more for a better mount like the S2 versus S1. My second issue is I wish the flashes mounted such that they slide in versus out. I use the silicone covers, so it is a tight fit, but does work. I have had my flashes hit the ground before so I won't give up the covers. By the way, I am using the Flashpoint eVolve, so there is no compatibility issue.

It is great even to use it with one AD200 because it gives me a modeling light in studio.Although, I wish the bracket was a little less stiff...

This is an excellent mount for the Godox AD200 if you use the barebulb a lot. Obviously it will only work with the bare bulb. But it also allows you to double up the AD200 on a single lightstand and light modifier. It is awesome that it uses the Bowens mount for light modifiers. That is as close to a universal light modifier mount as there is. So there are so many modifiers available to use with this. It is nice that the adapter works for either a single AD200 or two AD200s. So it gives a lot of flexibility.
