This is the only bracket I could find that accepts the Flashpoint/Godox AD300Pro.The swivel is metallic and much smoother than other brackets that are made of plastic and that had ratchets when adjust your light up or down. This model has a similar (yet larger) swivel mechanisms as you find on the AD200Pro, AD300Pro or AD400Pro strobes, and will receive Bowens modifiers.

at an outstanding price.I've only just received this flash bracket and haven't used it yet, so I can't speak to it's durability or resilience from experience, therefore these are first impressions. However, as I've already implied, it looks and feels sturdy and a lot of quality for the price.

Update 8/23:I’ve had these for a while now and have replaced my original S brackets with the purchase of two more. They are solidly made compared to the original and definitely hold up.—————————————As you can see from the attached photo, I used the S bracket with my AD200s for rim lighting. This is good, but I feel like the fresnel head was not lighting well, as most of the light goes to the sides. With the S2, the lighting will now be able to go vertical by being able to turn the AD200 in the bracket. The other updates I like is it feels more solid over the original S. The "click" is gone from the main handle as well.

This is a perfect mount for my new Flashpoint XPLOR 100 strobe. Take out the bottom insert for a rounder mounting surface and it fits right in. I like that I can tuck my little strobe in a bit further when mounting it - makes me feel like the strobe isn't as vulnerable to damage in the case of a fall.Great bracket and I plan on getting another one as I add another XPLOR 100 to my kit.

PROS: Very sturdy, locks in place very well, can pivot to almost any angle, metal base for solid longevity mounting to a light stand.CONS: Found it a hassle to get my AD200 into compared to the previous version, but you certainly can do it, Not at all good for the spring mounted square softboxes like the Godox 24 inch, or the Interfit 31 inch, they increased the size of the inside of where those mount on to, and both of mine just barely hang on and I fear they are going to fall off at the slightest provocation, so I will continue to use the previous version for the AD200 and my square softboxes.Overall, I love this new version, and thank Godox for listening to it's customers!

Fits either my flashpoint xR2 roundhead Speedlight or my flashpoint evolv200. It came with a diffuser sock that's fits either strobe. I haven't tested the diffuser sock but thought I'd mention, on one side of the inside sock is made of a reflective material. It's also textured I side. All around I'm pleased with this purchase. It's versatile, portable and feels sturdy. The interior has rubber padded areas that help protect your gear from damage.

To begin, I own both Godox and Neewer Bowens mounting brackets. The Godox is the S2 version; the Neewer is the S version. Both are excellent products for the money. The Godox S2 appears to be a slightly heavier build. The S2 is also more versatile in how the bracket mounts to your light stand (horizontal and vertical) as well as having the removal blocks to accommodate various speedlights in horizontal or vertical positions. Both brackets function similarly, the main difference being the slot where you might mount an umbrella. The S bracket mounts directly beneath the speedlight and has a tensioning screw; the S2 mounts below and to the side of the speedlight and has no tensioning screw but is more like a friction fit.One thing to note about the S2... it has two holes where you can insert the light stand tensioning screw. It arrives with the tensioning screw in the upper position and will not mount vertically in your light stand unless you move the screw into the lower position. Then it will tighten up on your light stand. The upper position is for mounting the bracket horizontally onto your light stand. I am uncertain where you would require the choice of mounting vertically or horizontally. If anyone knows fell free to comment. Refer to the images for examples: the first shows the two holes for the tensioning screw, the second image indicates vertical mounting to the light stand and the third is the horizontal light stand mounting. In any case, it's an excellent product and I would certainly order again

Such a great upgrade!! Godox finally rolled out an upgraded version of their S bracket and let me tell you, these folks really listen to their customer base. They fixed everything I complain about with the first. Larger adjustment handle, larger hole that fits the AD200 wonderfully, even with the round head, and just so much more steady and sturdy. Tempted to honestly scrap all of my S brackets for these

I've found a lot of Godox accessories a little pricey, but in the case of these mounts it is worth paying extra for these over some of the cheaper brands available. This updated version of the Godox mount gets it right and you won't regret paying a few dollars extra for it.
