The umbrella won’t stay open and collapses. I’ve only uses it a few times and it keeps doing this. I open it and triple-check that it is locked and secure. Then if I even slightly move the light stand it pops and collapses. Not usable and I’m outside the one month return window. 😖

I love these umbrellas! They make it so easy to recreate a book light setup but only using 1 stand! Setup and tear down in less than a minute and the soft light on subjects is amazing!

This is my first modifier, so I can't speak from a ton of experience. Until now I have mainly used natural light, with some reflectors when available. I decided to go with this instead of a softbox because I watched a ton of videos on both. This guy I trust on youtube, MarcusPix said that he really loved this thing in an exhaustive review of like 42 different modifiers. I have to agree it's great so far.At the moment I only have a Godox V860ii, but I think I will probably need to upgrade to an AD200 for the recycle time at least if I want to capture shots pretty quickly at this power level. But since I mostly shoot indoor boudoir with my wife, the V860ii seems like it will be plenty for that. These shots are the silver lined umbrella without the diffuser installed. The sun was just coming out behind my wife, even though the photos are processed a bit dark and flat. It's just the style I like! I've included straight out of camera as well so you can see the contrast.IHope this review helps, and if anything changes in the future I will update this review!
