Just got it but it works well with a Nikon D850 so far, the instructions are printed so small you need a magnifier to read but that is a small price once you get it up and working. I have used it a few times and it performs as promised. Time will tell but for now happy.

This is a great product that I use for triggering and adjusting up to 5 of my studio flash or flashgun units. I also use it in conjunction with my Sekonic Godox Transmitter for L858D flash meter.

It fell to the ground many times during wedding day work because the attachment system is not reliable. I had to buy it again a couple of times. Otherwise is a great product with a simple and efficient system for OCF lighting

This is such a time-saving device. Getting flashes synced is always such a pain, but this makes everything much easier... once you get it figured out. I've never really used a device like this before. I usually do some much more overly-complicated manual methods to get results.Even as I unboxed this, I thought, "Oh no, I have no idea what I'm doing... I am in way over my head..." but with the numerous pages of the manual that I had to read and re-read, glare and yell at, then read again--it miraculously worked perfectly! But seriously, the manual is kind of bad. I may have just gotten lucky with randomly pushing buttons until I figure it out...I think it's cool that you can control ANY Godox brand flash that you might already own, even if it's for Canon, Sony, etc. You can also use a Godox receiver (X1RC) for your officially-branded flashes in order to have the TTL trigger those (what I had to do). While testing the unit and enjoying my new mastery over grouping flashes together, I did notice a little, annoying quirk of this trigger. While adjusting the power of a group, if you don't hit the "set" button afterward, then nothing is actually changed. So, it's real easy to assume you've adjusted something when you haven't. And, even when you do hit the set button, the screen looks exactly the same as if you didn't... so you're always second-guessing yourself. All in all, it's just an extra step that isn't necessary. The "ALL" button is great, though. You click that and then you can--pretty obviously--adjust all groups at once, which is a wonderful time saver.I also kinda wish there was a pass-thru hot-shoe on this. Not that this is a feature I think I'd use often, but it would have been nice to have just in case.

I do understand that people with more sophisticated strobe set ups are having issues with this and hopefully one day they will be corrected in firmware. But for my relatively simple set ups this thing is great. This is a fancier version of the Godox controller I have been using for years. It gives me more channels and more groups to set my lights. And now has Bluetooth connectivity as well and they dazzling array of options many which I’m just not going to use. I’ve always use flash and manual mode and gotten better results than TTL or using any of the automatic lighting functions. So I can’t really speak to that aspect of this. But this unit gives me granular control of all of my strobes without having to go and physically touch them and I love this. I have a huge variety of soft boxes that in case the strobe making it very difficult to reach and this allows me to set change and adjust the lighting without having to open up the soft box. There is a lot more features and functions on this thing to explore but I can already speak to the excellent bill quality and the reliability of the triggering. Apparently they have some firmware updates that can even add functions or improve them. These are probably related to the TTL set ups that I don’t really use that much. But it’s one of those things it’s nice to know it’s there. Occasionally another photographer might use my set up and they might want to play around with that. But this is an incredibly affordable unit for all the functionality you get and I am extremely pleased.

tl;dr - Works well with X1R-N & AD200Pro. I've used this with a Nikon D850 and Z6 and both worked great.Pros:- Screen is bright and easy to read, buttons are responsive and not difficult to press- Worked well with two X1R-N and one AD200Pro. Didn't have any issues with range (indoors) or cutting out- Battery life has been fine, although it's worth noting that if you use rechargeable batteries you can end up with a low battery warning that isn't real. I read online that it just has to do with the voltage so I swapped them out with traditional batteries and the battery icon went back to regular.Cons:- Menus can be a little confusing at first, but after a short time I was familiar with them- Note that it does not have a pass through hot shoe mount if that is something you need for your work

I'm a Canon guy, but I use Godox flash systems. So how did I end up with this for the Nikon system? I often work with other photographers and some of them use other camera systems. By using these, we can call trigger my flashes and so we are not using up additional floor space with excess lights/stands. If you are familiar with Godox, you'll be right at home with these.

You can tell immediately upon opening that this is a high quality product and has a high level of care that went into it's design and production. The product packaging looks like what you get from a high end apple product. I ordered this for future use, as I slowly rebuild my photography equipment back up; after someone broke into my car and stole my camera bag with everything in it. At this time I don't have a camera to really explore all of it's settings and features, but I was able briefly check it using a friends camera.....I've read many of the reviews posted and I am confident that this will work perfectly once I get my camera replaced. As for what I can speak to; by all indications it's well ranked and worth the price.
