Each sheet has a thickness of .6mm, so it will easily protect without interfering with tone or top vibration. The face is already polished and back already has adhesive applied, so just cut to size and bevel the edges for a finished look that is not only a professional, but also protects. This is a thin pickguard (which I like) thicker the plastic deadens the sound of my guitar, thinner is better for me.Does scratch easy, shows sign of playing. 9$ I’ll buy another sheet.

Can be cut with heavy sharp scissors. Sand edges smooth for a perfect fit

This stuff isn't suitable for pickguards. It's not a solid plastic - it's just a sticker that you cut out and stick to an existing pickguard (why would you stick this straight onto a guitar is beyond me). I'll admit that it's my fault that I didn't read the part in the about this item where it says an adhesive is preapplied to the back.On top of that, the printing of the pattern is fuzzy and blurry. It is not sharp like it is in the pictures.Not worth the hassle of returning it, it just ended up in the trash bin.

Crappy, Bent and to thin. Opened up the envelope and it has a white mark from someone bending the thing, were does is say it has an adhesive backing?
