Yes, they are pretty & shiney, but NOT metal of any kind. Mid sized one has a scratch through the coating inside. Image reflections are wavy. Disappointed, and would like to know how to alert Amazon to the false advertising. I wonder whether all of these "Stainless Steel" sets made in China are really just plastic.

These are advertised as stainless steel when they are plastic. They look fine for indoor use but I doubt they are durable enough for outdoors or in water. They are fine for indoors for the. money.

These combined beautifully with green and red crackle glass gazing balls to make a great Christmas centerpiece. The green balls have lights inside them, so the reflections made off of the stainless steel were just stunning. Now that Christmas is over, I stacked the stainless steel balls in a tall, clear glass vase next to a lamp, and the effect amazing.
