Loved the finish and the size. Perfect for a single . I have done fried rice, stir-fry, etc. I love the perfect size for me and the easy clean-up. The cooked foid skid right out onto the plate and then I rinsed it out with hot water abd placed it in my dishwasher. Came out squeaky clean

This 8" wok from GoodCook is a good, smaller wok for my electric stove top and for cooking primarily for myself. The wok is appropriately thin steel and has an easy-to-grip, insulated handle. The steel bowl has a flat bottom with a diameter of approximately 4.5 inches, which opens up to an 8-inch diameter upper rim, providing ample room for tossing ingredients.The non-stick coating seems suitable for my electric stovetop, but I can't speak to its safety under the intense heat of a gas stove. It's important to note that this wok is not designed for induction use and the insulated handle is not compatible with oven use (although that's not a common wok concern).I've had good success using this pan for preparing gyoza and stir-fries on my electric stove. While I'm not using the intense gas heat needed to achieve wok hei, this wok allows me to perform the necessary cooking motions and effectively toss ingredients in the heat. It's a solid, affordable choice for my needs at this time.

We bought this item September 8th 2024. Use it for a view times and its already scrached and pilled. We had to throw this awful wok away - not safe to cook with it. Bad bad quality. Zero star. Look at the pics - you decide.
