I use this brush for adding egg-wash when I'm baking of bread and rolls. Much better than my previous stiffer brush. This brush is very gentle and does not rip the raw dough. That said, I have yet to see even one bristle on my bread. I highly recommend.

I HAVE TRIED SILICONE BRUSHES BUT THIS TRADITIONAL BRUSH WORKS WELLBEST FOR BRUSHING PASTRY AND BAKED GOODS BETTER THAN THE NEWER BRUSHES. i FINALLY STOPPED FIGHTING WITH THOSE AND BOUGHT THIS BRUSH. iT TAKES HALF THE TIME TO GLAZE AND BRUSH WITH THIS AND MUCH BETTER COVERAGE,. IT IS STURDY AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY LOOSE BRISTLES; IT IS USED AT LEAST 3-4 TIMES A WEEK.THE SILICONE BRUSHES MAY BE EASIER TO WASH/CLEAN BUT THIS BRUSH CLEANS EASILY WITH HOT WATER AND DAWN

I really love using this brush. I have used it to brush on glaze on cakes and it covers very well with no issues with bristles being loose or anything like that. It is very clean to use and hand washes beautifully. It doesn't take a long time to dry either. I have used it a number of times and am really glad I got this one.

Piece of junk! The brush and handle are two separate pieces that don’t stay together. The inside of the the brush head looked very poorly made. Don’t waste your money. I threw it away.

I have used a silicone brush in the past and thought it was good but decided to try an actual brush. Huge difference in application with a brush. This brush is high quality and I haven't had any issues with bristles falling out or anything. Easy to clean, too.

Works well, but the first time I used it a bristle came out on the food. No problems since. Tip: After washing it the bristles were sticking out all over the place, but I remedied that by wrapping the wet brush in a paper towel, making sure that the towel was slightly snug around the bristles. I just let it sit on the counter and the next day the brush was dry and nicely shaped.

Good brush, I like that the head is removable, it just sort of snaps in and out of the handle. Good price, delivered fast. It's hard to judge the exact size from the photos. It is a wider brush, not the width of a finger like some bristle pastry brushes. This brush is about the width of two fingers.
