This strapping makes the perfect grounding bar common ground for amateur radio equipment or any electronics that might pick up noise. Run a ground strap from the grounding lugs on the equipment chassis and solder the other end to the grounding strap. When all equipment is properly grounded together, it can drop the noise floor from S6 to S1 or S2.This roll of copper is really easy to work with and to cut or shape and it is easy to solder to, but plan to use flux.

I ordered this to use for some jewelry making and I did it without finding out exactly how thick 28 gauge copper is and feels. I use 28 gauge wire sometimes and knew it had to be measured on a different scale because 28 gauge wire is little more than thread. It's copper after all, I'm sure I could think of loads of things to do with it. It turns out that it is just right for the pieces I wanted to make and it arrived shiny and well padded and looking good. My snips cut it easily and it's not hard to work with. I would order this again. In fact, I probably will.

Who knew a roll of copper could be so exciting? Used it for a DIY project, and now I’m convinced I’m an artist. It’s pure copper and works like a charm.

Very well package copper strip. Most people would use this as copper roof flashing or perhaps for jewelry making. However, I will be using it to provide lightning protection ground straps for my amateur radio tower. It is thick enough to be strong and withstand substantially all weather conditions while also flexible enough to form into the desired shape. Since it is pure copper, it can easily soldered using ordinary tin/lead solder or silver/tin solder.

Copper and black are my home accent colors. I ordered this strip to use as a “kick plate” for the bottom of my bathroom door, just to accent. It is lightweight, flexible, and seems pretty durable. I’m sure I could wrinkle it if I tried but that’s why I’m not going to try. It’ll be a perfect accent to my overall home aesthetic.

This is a nice thickness for doing things in the shop. I can cut it with scissors very easily. It comes rolled up in a soft shipping bag so its possible that it might get squished (which would have definitely reduced my rating). I can use this in the 3/4 jaw chucks to reduce marking work (in the lathe) and for shimming things that are not quite level(ish) or fitting correctly. Great supply to have on hand in the shop.

We were impressed that the roll had no tarnish or other imperfections. We will use it on stained glass and sun-catcher projects.
