I use my compost machine every day. It looks and feels solid. Easy to assemble. The door can slide and the stand can turn it. There's a lot of food in there. It has changed the way I discard eggshells, cardboard, old fruits and vegetables. Happy with my purchase.

As many shared in reviews, this was a bit of a challenge to put together, mostly snapping parts together. Once together it has held together over the last six weeks. I love the tumbler feature. I know I wouldn't turn the contents nearly as much as I tumble it. I have filled up one side and it is definitely slowing turning into compost. I think for the price it is a good starter composter. Ours is bolted to the deck floor and any drip from it is easily washed away. Slide doors are nice, too.

TERRIBLE design. I read all the reviews on this before purchasing, but nothing I saw prepared me for this disaster of a composter. It was EXTREMELY difficult to assemble because as I would put each panel on others would fall apart. Took me forever to finally get it together. THEN, once I did get it together the sides of both drums kept coming off but I stuck with it and finally got it assembled. All appeared well for about a week. I added equal parts kitchen scraps and old leaves each day. No problem until I added just a bit of water. That's when one of the panels fell off and everything came out. While I noticed the contents had begun composting and was looking good, it was a total mess. Now, because it's past the return date I'll have to drill holes and put in rivets to hold the panels together. What a mess. Don't waste your money.

We love this compost bin! We have it for a little over a month and we like what we saw. It wasn't difficult to set it up. My husband installed it rather quickly. We filled it up in the first two weeks after our spring mowing. It smells so you would like to find a place where far away from people. Our compost just turn all black this week and I can't wait to use these home made rich soil! I was hesitated at first, but it works so well. It holds more thing than it looks and it's easy to spin it. There are locks on both side so you can lock-in the compost bin when it's on use. I wish we got it earlier.

Difficult to put together. Sides keep coming loose dropping compost on ground.

Bought this to make my own organic compost from my own organic garden waste. "Hot composting" is much faster and more effective than just making a pile on the ground.Anywho, set-up was pretty easy. The panels literally snap together. I did have to really force a few of the snaps but no issues from doing so. It rotates easily and holds a lot more than I really thought it would. I assembled it myself out in the yard after sunset.Cons1) there are 4 airholes on each panel. The bugs think these are secret entrances just for them, namely fireants. Now they're not a problem in and of themselves except for the nests and the biting! So just make sure your composted stays in an otherwise unused/unaccessed spot.2) the "locks" are just little plastic forks that flip up/out into the side panel of the composter. When it's very full or wet, it's heavy and the weight (combined with summer heat) really does a number on these locks. I don't imagine them lasting more than 2 seasons. I help relieve the pressure by trying to balance the contents so the lock is already near the hole before o engage it.3) the panels have 3 recessed sections from the outside. These are constantly pooling with water and attracting mosquitos (they face directly up when the lock is engaged). I drilled a small hole in each one (oh yay, more ant holes! Haha)4) There isn't really enough space below to get the compost out easily. My solution is to build a frame for it to sit on so it's more elevated (and maybe that will help with the ants getting in it too?)All that said, I still love it!
