Installed this product according to directions. It failed to heat pool after one week in 85+° weather, then hose sprung a leak. Will be seeking a refund

The hoses for this never worked and I gave up. I should have returned this immediately, my bad! I bought a new pool this year and decided I would try again. Couldn't find my hose connectors, and customer service was not willing to do anything but offer 5% off purchasing another heater. All I wanted was to know where I can PURCHASE new connectors. I wasn't asking for free ones since I know I'm outside my return window. "They checked and don't have parts" buy somewhere local they said. How can you buy local when the connectors are specific to THEIR product. I will never purchase from this company again. Now I have a completely useless solar heater.

It wasn't apparent that you needed to tie the solar piece into a filter system so it is a product difficult to apply for a swimming pool or outdoor water feature.If you want to return the product they will require you to pay the postage. Very unhappy and won't buy from them again

These are new, set up last September. I bought 3 to warm my 8,000 gallon pool faster. So far, one of the hoses sprang a leak and had to be removed. We are in Texas, but, the sun was not that hot this past Fall etc. I do not notice any temperature change in my water yet...

We have an Intex 18 foot long 54 inch deep above ground pool and we bought 3 of these and put them in full sun spot that gets a good 12 hours of sun a day and let me tell you they really work. Husband had some trial and error ordering the parts to hook them up. These do work but I am not giving 5 stars bc quality could be improved so tubing doesn't slip off so easy. Just don't move or fiddle with them once you've got them set up. Our pool is definitely warmer than last year. I've waited a month of trial to write this review. Pool temp is around 80 degrees so far all summer.

This product has increased the temp in our pool by 8-10 deg F (easily) compared to our neighbour’s pool. For reference our pool is 16’ x 48’ intex above ground pool

Seemed like a good idea at the time. Bought three, No way to mount them to anything as they are intended to be sat on the ground? Built a frame to mount them. The domes are flimsy and do not lock on, requiring a few screws to hold them in place or they will wiggle loose. Supplied hoses are thin and already had one leak. water heating ability is mininal even in a strong sun. Overall build quality is cheap. Disappointing.

je me demande beaucoup pourquoi j’ai acheté ce bidule. Je ne perd pas espoir je vais rajouter des tuyaux afin de le mettre encore plus au soleil pour le restant de la journée. Pour le moment, je me demande bien si ce produit est adapté pour le Québec

When we received the package the box appeared to have been opened before. When we began to install the hose, it was broken. So we had to repair the hose that was sent in the box.My husband was very upset that we had to repair a product that we thought we were purchasing new. Because the box appeared to have been opened and retaped it was probably a return and the company did not check the parts before they sent it off to me. NOT HAPPY WITH THAT ASPECT.As far as the product it is as appears in the picture and seems to work well.

Update: I changed my rating to 5 stars simply because there are no leaks in the main dome after 3 years.The connectors on the heater are all 1 1/4 inch and there are no adapters for 1 1/2 inch hoses. I have not found any decent adapters on Amazon to successfully (no leaks) connect my 1 1/2 hoses to the 1 1/4 connections on the heater.If your pool uses 1 1/4 inch hoses you should be fine. Otherwise there is a modest increase in temperature.2nd follow-up (deleted the first since it is now inaccurate) : It gets stranger. Day 3 the flimsy 1 1/4 inch long hose sprang about 14 pin hole leaks (I am not kidding I counted them this morning). Anyhow, jumping to the end of my saga it turns out the connectors on the solar pump WILL connect to a 1 1/2 inch hose and that the included 1 1/4 inch (flimsy) hoses have an abnormally large opening. So you do NOT need couplers to connect 1 1/2 inch hose to the solar heater. I have spent an extra $50 on couplers and hoses that I did not need. Under no circumstances will you want to use the included hoses.
