I bought this in Sept 2024. This is Jan 2025. It's coming off the door. I haven't even used any cleaners on glass for fear this would happen. They should at least included extra sticky tape. I guess now I'm going to have to see about getting holes drilled. Not happy with performance.

Exact replacement for a twenty year old sweep in my main bathroom. Bronze is slightly darker, but I think that's a function of the original shower frame having faded slightly over the past two decades. There were no instructions in the package I received, but installation was easy. I used the original sweep to mark the size of the new sweep and cut it with a hack saw. I cleaned the bottom of the shower door with alcohol to ensure the new adhesive strip would adhere well. There are two end caps in the package. You only need one. Put the end cap on the end of the sweep towards the opening (away from the hinges). Slope the sweep slightly downward from the capped end to the open end. (I think mine drops about 1/8th of an inch across a 28" opening.) Any water captured by the track on the sweep will drain toward the hinges and stay in the shower while the cap on the open end ensures that no water is thrown out onto the floor when the door opens.High quality, clear silicone sweep.Worth the money.

I was doing a favor for friends who had problems with the shower door leaking under the door and out onto the floor. I cleaned the inside of the door then used rubbing alcohol before installing the diverter. I also put a sheet metal screw on both ends and put a small amount of clear sealant across the top. No problems after being on their door for a couple months.

This drip rail with vinyl sweep is average, you will need to cut it to size using a good hacksaw. The rail isn't oil rubbed bronze, it's a dark brown. Don't expect it to stay on your door, it literally fell off after 24 hours and I cleaned the door well before installing it. Instead just buy 1/2" self-taping screws and washers. There's another review that mentions this, I'm glad I read it. I recommend you read it too. Follow up the installation with some clear waterproof silicon, this will seal the gaps to prevent a leak. There will be gaps. I used GE brand. It worked great and cures fast. The vinyl sweep is difficult to install. I used a small amount of 3-In-One oil for lubrication, so it would slide on the rail easier. Don't waste your time fighting it, follow my tip. Just be sure to clean it off well after you do that. Put the vinyl sweep on the rail before you install it on your door. Honestly, I think the product is overpriced, but I'll update this review for performance in one month.

This works as expected. No issues. The toughest part is cutting it to length but not a big issue if you have a hack saw.

Works as advertised and the finish looks durable and well applied. Tape seems to be very strong and should stay put. I know this because I installed the rail too far in one direction (my fault) and had to remove it to re-position so the door would close. That's not going to happen. Had to destroy the tape to do that. So I drilled and mounted with screws. However, that tape would have stayed put for a long time had I got it right the first time. So be aware of initial positioning, but also be confident that if you clean the door and mount it in the right spot the first time, that tape will hold.
