Love this hi viz convertable cycling jacket. Nicely made and as good a water barrier as you will find in a breathable jacket. Good wind protetion and black sleeves and collar minimize potential soiling and grease stain visibility. I had and lost my Pearl Izumi convertable hi viz cycling jacket which was quite decent; however, this one is superior and more durable feeling. To use the convertable feature , you unzip 2 zippers on each of the sleeve-body junctions turning it from a jacket into a vest in about 20 seconds. Reattaching the sleeves takes a minute or two to zip up the 4 little zippers. The breathable fabric disipates body moisture during vigorous cycling remarkably well. Like most cycling jackets, there are no side slash pockets but it does have 3 back pockets & is "longish" in the back for good low back coverage while leaning forward on the bike

If you are looking for a breathable, wind proof winter jacket then this will likely do the job. I’ve worn mine with a couple of light layers beneath in zero temperature rides and been very comfortable. Like most winter rides you start off cold and there’s always the temptation to over layer which results in over heating once you get going. With this jacket you’ll stay lovely and dry as it’s fully breathable.I haven’t worn it in heavy rain and doubt it’s waterproof. I pulled on a waterproof jacket to stay dry and found I soon got hot and sweaty which demonstrates how breathable the jacket is without an over layer. The sleeves do zip off to create a gillet but haven’t worn it as yet. Quite fiddly to zip back in again but like the jacket itself the material and zips are excellent quality.I bought the black and grey jacket but wished id gone for hi viz as I’m only likely to wear it in winter and I’ve found myself wearing a viz gillet over the top which defeats the benefits of gore ware.In terms of size & fit I’m 5’10 and 13 stone with a reasonably long body and the XXL is a good fit. It’s not a tight racing fit bit neither is it baggy. If I was going for a racing fit I’d go for XL but if you want to be able to layer up beneath for winter rides then XXL is spot on.It’s not cheap but it’s great quality and it’ll likely last me a good few winters.

Bought this jacket six months ago. I find that I’m comfortable between 40 and 60 degrees using a short or long sleeve jersey as a base. I don’t notice any air coming through even in very windy conditions. I purchased the yellow because I wanted to be visible as possible road cycling. I like that the sleeves zip off when conditions change and find it very easy to zip back on. The jacket features are very well thought out and of excellent quality. Many of the reviews indicated the jacket runs small which it does. Part of this is because when you order a given size ,for instance a (large) what you are actually getting is a (European size large)which is equivalent to a (us size medium). You will notice this when reading the tag inside the jacket. If you factor this in your sizing calculation which means ordering one size larger you will be close But…the fit may still be a little snug. I normally wear a medium size jersey but in a jacket I will usually wear a large because of my longer arms and wanting to add an extra thin base layer. This is what I did when ordering. I ordered a Large and a XL figuring one would fit. I tried the Large first and it was snug (like a fitted jersey) but binding in the armpit shoulder area when my arms extended reaching for the handlebar. I tried the XL jacket and the fit was perfect. There is room for my jersey with room for a thin base layer under the jersey if needed without feeling too snug at all. I am fairly thin wearing a 31 waist jeans and a medium shirt. Wearing a Size XL jacket seems bizarre for me but it’s mostly because the sizing choice is European. I believe the sizing choices should be in US sizing for the US market or at least explain the sizing method that is being used with a given product. I know this is a long review but I just want you to be able to make an informed decision.

This is a great cycling jacket for cool days and I love the option of zipping off the sleeves to make it a short-sleeve jersey. The material is heavier and yet it is breathable. I wore it in a 40 mile gravel ride and never took it off.

Thank you! Good quality, very nice product.XXL size was a little bit too tight for XXL man, we had to return and order XXXL size.

Great wind breaker and sufficient warmth when worn over a long sleeve shirt and sleeveless base layer. I don't ride below 40, if I can help, and this works great for temps from 41-52. Above this, it might be too warm. Sizing was accurate.

I like this jacket very much. It is great for mid-California; keeps me warm enough and not too warm. Stop wind.

Went riding this morning in the 30*f cold. This jacket kept me warm, but didn’t overheat me. The combination of goretex in wind contact areas and breathable material in non-wind contact areas is very good. Probably the most comfortable cold weather ride I’ve had thanks to this jacket (and wearing other temperature appropriate riding gear).
