Makes perfect sense that being a catcher my daughter wants to play short and pitch. We have this setup on a net at home and on a practice bet for the team.10 and 12 u players tell me all the time they are afraid of hitting a batter. Or using a certain pitch that they don’t have complete control of. After a few practices with this faux batter my daughter felt more confident pitching inside on batters. Just a great visual for your bullpen.

easy to set up.. we have a net so make sure you have one. good quality straps ..they only thing is you can see the person when you flip to the other side but not very clear..is not painted as the right facing

takes some Tinkering to hang would be better with a tension line to make more universal. Good for young pitcher to get a reference with net practice

This item is terrible. I didn't even get the net. I got the man standing there with the baseball and the strike zone rectangle thing. This is awful. Why would you even sell something like this. I want to return it as soon as possible This is awful

Son just used this for the first time today. Great stand in when you don't have a catcher. Attached easily to the backstop with velcro clips. Some of the reviews panned the product because it doesn't include the new. As someone who has a net for T work, you aren't going to get a target and a net for less than $100. Product appears to be well made from study nylon with strong velcro straps. Will enable my son to throw bullpens during the current Covid crisis and beyond.

This product is amazing. I've passed this link onto several other coaches I know. The practice batter helps the kids from being wild without and actual person standing in. We use the strike zone numbering system for location during our games. I can call out a number (Example: 72 means 7=location, 2=two seam fastball) from the dugout and the pitcher and catcher know what I'm looking for. This will also help train pitchers & catchers on how to call games as they grow older and get into high school baseball/softball.
