ILD / Compression Rating Explanation

This product has a compression rating of 44 lbs.

Compression means the number of pounds necessary to compress the piece of foam by 1 inch in a 7x7 inch area.

For example, if you put 44 lbs in a 7x7 inch area, the foam will compress 1 inch.

Density Explanation

Many mistakenly take high density foams as firmer foams but that is not the case. A foam that is 44 ILD in a medium and high density will feel the same.

Density is the lifespan of the foam, the higher the density the more material is used to make the foam hence making it last longer.

****Disclaimers****

Many advertise their 1.8 density foam as high density which is false advertisement. When looking at foam products you should look at the ILD / Compression Rating ( Firmness and Softness ) of the foam and Density ( Lifespan / Durability ) of the foam.

Sunlight will turn this unit from white to yellow, if you do not want a color change on your unit we suggest keeping it away from direct sunlight.

I bought this to replace the 4 triangular cushions on my outdoor daybed-- the memory foam is amazing- the chair is a family favorite! I bought an outdoor cover that slips over it and sprayed it with scotchguard for extra protection-I do bring it in if it rains- - but wet suits aren't a problem!! Excellent purchase- highly recommend-- it is pricey with the cushion and cover- but totally worth it- the chair is definitely upgraded!!

This fills amazing... It fits my cheer perfectly. My husband and I both were laying on this and it stayed comfortable... I have it on top of the original cushions that came with this chair and that works perfectly.. I'm going to order the sheet sets that are round... I am currently laying out here with my blanket Indefinitely enjoying it.. The cushion is very thick and very comfortable

I bought this for an outdoor daybed and it's so comfy! Way better than the original cushions. I roll it up every night for storage and it bounces right back when I put it out in the morning. I wish I had bought this sooner.

I don’t understand the one bad review. This is quality furniture foam. I love this and it’s given my four year old daybed new life. I’ve had a canopy daybed inside for years - better than a couch and cheaper! Been looking for a cushion like this, thank you!! Dense foam and made me love my daybed even more.
