Protection Function:

1.Start up failure protection: If the motor fails to start within 2 seconde of throttle application, the ESC will cut-off the output power. In

this case, the throttle stick MUST be moved to the bottom again to reboot the motor. (such a situation happens in the following cases:

The connection between ESC and motor is not reliable, the propeller or the motor is blocked, the gearbox is damaged, etc.)

2.Over-heat protection: When the temperature of the ESC is over about 110Celsius degrees, the ESC will reduce the output power.

Throttle signal loss protection: The ESC will reduce the output power if throttle signal is lost for 1 second, further loss for 2 seconds will

cause the output to the cut-off completely.

Product failed during first flight. Internal circuit short, caused plane (3D printed) to catch fire!

Other reviewer said he had a short that was scary, but I had no problems putting over 50 A through it on several flights with my RC plane. Not to say the negative reviewer didn't but I found lots of airflow over these ESC's is critical. When they get too hot meltdown and fire is always a potential. I build a lot of planes and I've had ESC's that were name brand fail too. When there's 30 reviews up for this ESC then you can better judge.

I tested this esc with a 5000+kv motor with 3s batteries and it runs the little very well. The esc didn't get hot or fail.
