A few years ago, I decided to upgrade my flatware. I wan't something a little rustic and the Avalon pattern from Gourmet Settings was it!! My daughter and husband call it my "Viking silverware" because the spoons are so big, but I have been soooo pleased with it so far. When I saw the iced tea spoons, I had to have them. I still need four more to complete the set, but the seller didn't have anymore available at the time. If you want silverware that feels substantial in your hand, is well-balanced, and is rustic with a touch of formality (design on the handle tip), Gourmet Settings Avalon is a great choice.

I have the placesettings for the Avalon set and because the teaspoons are pretty large I was looking for something smaller. These ice teaspoons are the perfect fit! The long handle is great for stirring smoothies or cocktails and the small spoon and is perfect for a little mouths. Gourmet settings is exceptionally high quality and absolutely gorgeous. These are heavy spoons but you won’t be disappointed!

We purchased several sets of this flatware about 15 years ago (from another retailer). As time marched on, we lost various pieces for various reasons. My spouse always really liked this flatware, as it is heavy-duty, the forks are three-tined and the pattern is very attractive. Return to present day, we decided to replace our missing pieces. Surprisingly, we found them on Amazon! The pieces we ordered were perfect, and are absolutely the original pattern from the original manufacturer. We are very pleased! Note: this is NOT cheap flatware. It will not bend or break after a couple of years. It's a bit pricey, but as I said, we have had our originals for 15 years, and they still look as good as they did when we purchased the sets! We don't give them special treatment, they are washed in the dishwasher, the Cats knock them off the counter (as they will), and the kids have abused them. If you like the pattern, don't hesitate to purchase! In the photograph we submitted, there are new and 15 year old pieces mixed together, so see for yourself!! I truly hope this review helps you!

They match my Avalon flatware exactly. Just kinda bummed they didn’t come in their original packaging for the price I paid.

I didn't realize that I could replace pieces of this flatware until I was browsing on Amazon one day. Fantastic! I love this flatware. It is beautiful and sturdy. Can't go wrong!
