I bought for my 6 year old grandson as he's really into army paraphernalia. Although he doesn't wear it (tho I'm sure he sneaks it's on at times !) it goes well in his army themed room. Looks like a real helmet which he loves !!

I expected, and would have been happy with, a piece that just had the appearance of a WWII US Army helmet. My youngest has developed a rich fascination with WWII, the history, the humans, the armaments; and he asked for a helmet for Christmas. With the detail and weight, when he opens this he'll feel a greater sense of connection to what he sees in the photos, and what he reads about the men who wore them. That matters. This is certainly a gift beyond.

Great replica of ww2 helmet. Inner plast shell , metal outer shell.Terrific O.D. Green flat finish paint. Fits adults but my 10 year old loves it.

PRO: I needed the WW-II US helmet for an historical display I was putting together for a specific unit of the Army. It was absolutely perfect for my purposes and will most likely produce the same end result for others. The positive aspect that first drew me to the helmet was the competitive price. Given what was included and the quality of all the materials, it was a bargain!CON: I really have nothing to criticize on this replica helmet.
