I love the vibrance of the colors and the material is nice. I would say that it does run slim and the shorts run short. My son is lean and tall and its a little tighter and shorter than i'd normally buy.

The material on this swimsuit is very high quality. The fit is true to size on my 6 year old son who wears size 7 in clothes. Style and color are true to the picture and it seems like it’ll hold up well after washing. Great value for the money.

I bought this for my tall skinny 7 year old son.Most every swimsuit needs alterations and this one fits!!! The top and the bottoms! He was SOOO happy (he is autistic) . Please note the swim trucks do NOT have netting in them. Also the swim shirt is extra great quality. The colors are bold (easy to see when he is under water in the pool) and he loves it

I got the GRACE KARIN Boy Kids Two Piece Swimsuits Long Sleeve Rash Guard Swimwear today! I ordered it for my grandson turning 11 next month. I ordered the size 12, knowing it might be a bit big, but I expect he can wear it for two summers before he outgrows it. With the drawstring in the waistband, I'm sure he can snug them up tight enough.I love that all the seams are perfect, and perfectly serged, which I've seen on so many garments made in China. Really good workmanship! There are no rough edges to irritate the skin or rip out and awkward moments. The shirt is lined front and back. The shorts are completely lined. The fabric is light weight, so being lined hasn't made the swimwear too heavy. The inside of the shirt feels smooth all over - it should be very comfortable to wear!I love that the shirt is long-sleeved. It will offer extra protection against the sun's harmful rays while my grandson enjoys hours of fun at the beach. I should mention that this swimwear does NOT mention that the fabric is UPF - Ultraviolet Protection Fabric. Many swimsuits are made of UPF now, which is a really nice feature. But even with UPF, swimmers are still advised to wear sun screen.I don't like that the fabric care instructions are printed on clear plastic! Plastic against your skin? Ew... I just know that's going to be really irritating. I'll have to pull it out, but sometimes that doesn't fix the problem. There's still a little rough edge in the seam line. Sometimes you have to remove the stitching to get the fabric care instructions out, then stitch it back up again. And by using clear plastic, you see the printing on both sides at once, making it impossible to read. I did translate the complicated washing and drying symbols: machine wash cold on gentle cycle. No bleach. Line dry in the shade. Iron only on low. Do not dry clean.I would guess that if you could iron something on low, then you could pop it in the dryer on low - don't you think? But if line-drying the swimwear will extend it's life, then maybe it's a good practice.Finally, I really like the design! I love the shark teeth up and down the sleeves! I love that the shorts are a bit shorter - not too short, but not hanging down to the knees either. I love the ocean blue shorts with sharks and stingrays swimming in the waves. I love the sky blue top with a hammerhead shark breaking through the surf with a swim floatie stuck around his middle. I think the designer has a really cute sense of humor, something my almost teenage grandson is going to appreciate.So if you're okay with regular fabric instead of UPF, then you will probably love this swim suit, too!
