Pretty, but are rimmed in gold, rather than platinum so I will be returning. Plates are thin and light. Better for dessert than salad, in my opinion. Shipping was slow considering I'm a Prime member.

I bought these plates as a Christmas gift for my mother because her name is Violet. Even if that was not her name these were beautiful plates the packaging was superb there was no chance of any of them breaking unless an elephant stepped on it I highly recommend this product.

These are beautiful dishes. They are slightly smaller that the standard salad plate but I still find myself reaching for one of them. They are a joy to eat from.
