Yes, it costs one-quarter of the competing model (though it is still somewhat costly)Yes, it looks nice, and works well, and is feature-packed.However, this motion-enabled bassinet has a terrible flaw...The purpose of the motion (and vibration and white noise) is to keep your baby QUIET so you can sleep.However, when it is moving back and forth, this bassinet makes an irritating "CLICK-CLICK, CLICK-CLICK" noise, which kind of defeats the purpose of attempting to keep your bedroom QUIET.When it is new, the clicking noise is just slightly irritating, but the longer you use this bassinet... as the weeks go by... the clicking slowly starts to get even louder. (Perhaps an internal gear starts to wear down resulting in increased noise?)If you keep your baby in another room at night... this noise may not be an issue for you (it did not seem to bother our baby)... but if your bassinet is beside your own bed... this is likely going to irritate you eventually.One other criticism: the rocking motion has three speeds, which I would describe as: "Too Fast, Much Too Fast, and Are You Kidding Me?" The lowest speed should be a gentle rocking motion... but all rocking speeds are very aggressive.

My husband and I are expecting our first and this was a “most wanted” item on our registry. Assembly was easy, you’ll just need a Phillips head for 4 screws. Impressed with the look of this bassinet and the feel of the mattress. It’s nice and thick plus comes with a sheet. I’ve played around with most of the settings and so far so good. We put an 8lb dumbbell in there to test out the motion and it was a smooth & gentle back and forth rocking. Glad we weighed it down a bit to see how it will actually move with the expected weight of our baby. Nice that there are a few speeds to choose too. Haven’t run into any clicking or weird noises that a couple reviews mentioned. This isn’t quite as fancy as the Snoo but can do most of the same tricks at a better bang for your buck. We’ve only been able to test out the smartsense cry detecting feature with crying baby videos on YouTube but it’s pretty amazing how quickly it works. Excited to use this “for real” when baby girl arrives.

Updating my review. We returned the prior bassinet (reviewed below) and bought another due to the noise. But the replacement bassinet is even worse!! It’s squeaks AND bangs. It’s pointless that it helps soothe the baby to sleep - because you will NOT get any sleep with the obnoxious and annoying sounds this bassinet makes. This bassinet is awful. Great concept but serious failure on the end product.Previous review—This bassinet could use several improvements…1.) It is very noisy when rocking. I just initiated a return because I’m not sure if something is wrong with the motor, but the bassinet is very loud when rocking. It makes a loud banging/clicking noise. It’s hard to sleep with it on.2.) There are no sheets that properly fit the bassinet. Graco only gives you one sheet. This isn’t enough and if you buy other sheets, they don’t fit the mattress properly.3.) For the price point, it should have an app. The 4moms bassinet was quieter and had an app.4.) The mesh walls should be see through. I hate that I can only check on my daughter by standing up to look at her.Pros - Nice look, love the white noise inside the bassinet and I like that the bassinet stays on for hours.

I had a fisher price motion bassinet before I purchased this one where I had to manually rock the bassinet and I hated it! this self soothing bassinet with cry detection is wonderful it’s similiar to the snoo without the price tag.. I love it.. puts my baby to sleep and keeps her asleep .. when the rocking is getting going it makes a knocking sound but once it’s in rhythm the bassinet is pretty quiet. I love that the sound from the music or white noise comes through the bassinet and it is louder for the baby then for us.. my only wish (graco if you’re reading this) is that there was a dim option for all the buttons because if the basinet is on the control panel is illuminated and the light is a little much for a dark room. I just wish there was a dim button or a go dark button. I don’t have any squeaking and my bassinet rocks back and forth very smoothly.. I would say if you get this bassinet and have those problems maybe you got a bad one try and return for a new oneOverall this basinet has made a world of difference to help keep my newborn asleep I can’t say enough how much I love this product! I would recommend this bassinet to all my friends!
