I work for a university and help at their graduation ceremonies, and wanted a hat of my own vs renting one. The material was really nice and the tassel was a nice weight. All the faculty at the graduation kept asking where I got it.It was also nice to have the velcro in the back to adjust the size of the cap.

I ordered this for my custom doctoral gown. The gown place was asking for more than double the price, so I ordered this instead. It looks really great, but if you have a big head (like me), this might be tight. There is an adjustable strap, but my head was slightly bigger than the max size. If you have a regular or smaller-sized head, I would highly recommend it. Save yourself some money.
