Received used equipment. Everything was simply jammed into the box. None of the cables were wire-tied, nothing was in plastic bags and there was no manual. I was willing to let this go - as it saved me some time unpacking it, but someone changed the default password and I couldn't get in. Grandstream Support tried to help but after too many back and forths, I gave up and returned it.

The DP752 factory default username is "admin," and the default random password should be found on the sticker at the back of the unit. However, there is no password sticker at the back. I have tried to contact the seller and Grandstream, but I haven't received any response to help me.

I was initially quite disappointed with my DP752 phone base station. This was due to the fact that there was no initial password on the back of the device and a suggested login with "admin / admin" did not work either. When I asked customer service, I received replies within 2-3 minutes. Ultimately, it was determined that the device was defective. A replacement, which has since worked perfectly, was sent to me immediately.Excellent support!

It is very compact unit that is easy to configure and should work with most VOIP providers with proper SIP credentials. It offers multiple sip accounts and the ability to connect to 5 handsets that can be configured to ring simultaneously or in a particular order. Basestation unit looks nice, works perfectly and deserves applaud for the great execution. The price is very affordable too.The handset unit dp722 is designed well, looks good but has scope of improvements. Max Ring volume is ok but not very loud as in wired desktop phone units. Hence, it may not be suitable for any noisy environment or office. Speaker quality on handset is ok and acceptable but it is no match to the superior crystal clear sound of Dect phone units from Panasonic at my home units. I think use of a better quality speaker would have made a big difference. The another important pet peeve is that audio headset jack connector is at the bottom of the handset and therefore not accessible when handset is on the charging stand. No idea how such retarded and brainless design got approved for the manufacturing. Why? Was everyone sleeping during review?Overall, it is a good value for the price and will do the job as long as you set the right expectations. Given the reasonable price and overall functionality, I would recommend it for any small business owner.

I actually replaced the DP750 with these since I was having problems with them but these have been problem free since the day I installed them. I will definitely use these again.

I just received my first DP752 and two DP730 handsets. I was surprised how easy they were to setup. I plugged in the DP752 to a POE port and it powered right up and started looking for its first handset. I installed the battery in the first handset and within a few seconds it found a base station and asked if I wanted to connect to it. Easy as pie. Then the base and handset auto downloaded new firmware which only took a few minutes. While the handset finished it's updates I installed the battery in the second handset. This time I had to hit the button on the base to initiate syncing, but after that all went the same as the first. Configuring the PBX logins in the web gui was quick and simple for both handset, very intuitive. The only setting I had to hunt for was the PBX IP address that needed to be defined under the Profile 1 -> General Settings menu. Fortunately I spotted the Voice Mail Access Number on the same page. For FreePBX it is *97. After clicking Save and Apply, I was in business and making inbound and outbound calls.

Pretty easy to setup with our voiSip service. Phone handsets are easy to add, just push the registration button.I only deduct 1 star because this system supports 5 handsets. Some of the similar systems are now supporting 8 handsets per base station. That aside, it works great with voip services like voiSip and probably most others.
