The cats go nuts for these, and I had to get the dogs their own bag because they were getting jealous. The ingredients are great quality so I don’t feel guilty tossing my pets some of these between meals.

Our cats love these more than our dog! I really love that you can feed this to both species. That is very hard to find in the pet treat industry.

Sensitive stomach and no issues at all. Difficult to find lamb treats that are not 'raw' products by any method. THIS is the best find for me to give my Yorkie. She loves it. I messaged a question to the company and got an answer back the same day and it was a weekend. The protein to fat ratio is just right- this is a lower fat than most lamb I have seen so it is perfect for her digestion. This will be a staple for her.

When my dogs are not feeling well and need a flavorful burst to encourage them to eat... I add it to their food. Since I don't go through it that fast I keep it in the fridge for freshness.

The photos of these treats imply they are small, solid treats. In actuality, they are gumdrop sized crumbly messes. My cats won’t touch them.

These treats are a game-changer in the world of pet snacks.Pros:- All-Natural Ingredients: The blend of sweet potato, kelp, and lamb not only ensures a high-quality protein source but also packs a punch of essential nutrients.- Healthy and Tasty: My pets absolutely adore the taste! It's evident that the chewy texture and rich flavor are a hit with them.- Beneficial for Health: These treats have visibly improved my pets' coat health, and their energy levels seem boosted. The omega-3 fatty acids are a great plus for joint health.- Great for Training: They work wonders as training rewards. I got these for my miniature poodles, and they absolutely loved them. I will add that they aren’t overly picky, but these treats are soft, and I think they enjoyed the change and were really begging for more. I like that I could actually pronounce the ingredients whereas many foods and treats on the market I cannot which make them an automatic no. The price seems a bit high for the size of the bag. To be fair everything these days is that way for me. One trip to PetSmart had me deciding that, while I felt it was high, that’s what costs are everywhere, especially for high quality treats. The one thing that was a bit of a turn off to me is that they are very crumbly. Not something that I could put into my training treat bag. I had no problem feeding them the formed treats and they didn’t fall apart in my hand but there is a lot of mush in the bag that can’t be used like a treat. I ended up pouring out the remainder into their food for a bit of extra flavor. I didn’t dump it all at once though, considering I wasn’t exactly sure how much salt would be in it and I didn’t want to overload them with salt since they are small dogs. Over I’m happy with these treats both in ingredients and my dog’s enjoyment. If the treats stayed together, they would be excellent.

Dogs like these. However, when given the choice of three treats, dried chicken, dried lamb and these both dogs chose this one last. And to be fair, one of the dogs will also eat rocks.They are pretty big though, so need a big dog. If you try to break them they crumble. Two cats would not touch them, even broken up.You do not get many for the price, is about 2 loose cups of treats.

I will preface this review by saying that I've been working with dogs and in the veterinary field for over 50 years. I currently have 4 small breed dogs but have raised and worked with large breed dogs in the past.These treats come in a rather small bag. The treats are square and very crumbly. There is a lot of dust in the bottom of the bag (could be because they are shipped in just a bag and get squashed during shipping).The treats are big for a small dog but almost impossible to break into pieces without crumbling into dust. When you have to watch calories in small dogs, this treat is pretty big to feed them and you don't get many in a bag. I will probably just crumble them all into dust and use it as a food topper. It will be more economical that way and last a lot longer, plus I can give them less calories at a time.Three of my four dogs did really like the taste and the oldest one did eat it after sniffing it a few times. They have molasses in them and most dogs will eat anything with molasses in it. Dogs love a sweet taste which is why so many dog treats add a sweetener. I like that these are made in Canada and have decent ingredients with nothing really too unnecessary in them. I don't think they are going to 'keep your pets skin healthy and shiny' in the amounts you would give daily from such a small pack or doing anything for their joints as they mentions in their ad ('Lamb may help promote excellent joint health and may even alleviate inflammation in your beloved pets. '), but they are a decent quality treat or food topper.I probably would not buy them again based on the price, the ingredients and the size package. There are just too many other options out there for my small dogs that I consider better.
