The quality of this item is lacking. Upon receipt the cup was tilted and not level, easy to spot. I had to carefully take it apart to bent the base to level it, which was stressful and took time. They spent more care in the wrapping than the making unfortunately. The designer and maker of this cup in INDIA needs to know they are putting out a deformed and low quality product. It is also supposed to be lined with real gold but it is only sprayed on as you can see at the top of the base there is none there showing the darker brass where they were lax in the fabrication..The pic clearly shows the color differentiation and the lack of gilding missing from where the base meets the 1st node piece. Lastly the bottom of the cup design is what hold all the 5 cup pieces together. It is not thick enough of material when the cup is tightened via the inner long screw shaft it bends. Furthermore it is not "cut" correctly whereby you can easily see the indent on one of the edges. I am somewhat disappointed after paying over a 100 dollars. Unless this seller has a better and higher quality gold covered cup that is sprayed all over without missing parts it is unlikely they will satisfy this customer or others after i type up my actual product review which I always do be it pro or con to assist my fellow Amazonian consumers. Returning it and all the hassle is a headache that I am not looking forward to albeit it is in better condition now than when I received it. How can anyone ship such an item as expensive as this with such an obvious tilt is beyond comprehension. I suspect that the cup itself is not even lined with any gold at all but only the Paten from initial inspections. i would not recommend this cup.
